How about the Blue Jays finishing a 13 game road trip with a record of 4-9. They win a series against the Cubs but lose against Seattle, Oakland and Houston.

Going to Diamondbacks @ White Sox tonight.

This will be my 5th Sox game this year, and the 3rd time I've seen Contreras start, blegh. Still waiting to catch a Buerhle start.

How about the San Diego Padres finishing a 13 game homestand with a record of 5-8. Hopefully they can snap out of this funk on the road.

Some how I don't think this is going to be a very successful road trip for the Dbacks.

The Blue Jays losing streak ends tonight B.A. against your Cardinals (at least I hope so with Halladay on the mound).

I'm happy to see them play against a stud like Roy, but I would rather they play competition from their own league.

I don't mind the interleague games (I'm not a purist) since it gives me a chance to catch National league teams that I rarely see. For example, I'm thinking of going after work on Wednesday to catch the Blue Jays game.

It would give you a nice look at a portion of the NL All-Star team.

Speaking about All Star teams, here's the projected roster as of 6/10:

http://www.sportsline.com/mlb/allstar/projections

I must question a couple of those names.

Counsell and Eckstein should be replaced by Utley and Lopez.
Cliff Floyd and Carlos Lee should replace Moises Alou and Jose Guillen.
David Wright or Ensberg over Randa?
Brett Myers and Beckett should be in there.
Jeter over Guillen.

It is pretty close. Look at Counsell's numbers compared to those two guys.

Counsell is hitting .290 w/ an OBP of .400, 35BB, 64H, 38 runs and 4 HRs.
Utley is hitting .313 w/ an OBP of .386, 18BB, 52H, 30 runs and 10 HRs.
Lopez is hitting .309 w/ an OBP of .359, 15BB, 56H, 32 runs and 10 HRs.

Utley is hurt because he plays so damn many positions. I think Counsell will be picked because of his hits and OBP.

Sorry, let me rephrase that. Counsell and Eckstein should be replaced by Utley and Lopez respectively.

Odd that they don't project Jeter in the game.

I disagree. I think Utley is having a monster sophomore year, and deserves some respect but not sure that the projection needs to be changed.

David Eckstein over Felipe Lopez is a joke.

And I agree about Chase Utley, he deserves it over Craig Counsell easily. He's having the superior year.

Also, Griffey > Guillen.

And I won't make an arguement for Dunn since half of people will look at BA and run away.
