You BoSox fans are always complaining. First time they meet in 87 years, and "it's a bad time" for you Northshore/128/CraneBeach/Woodman'sVSClamBox whiners.....

Ok, Dbacks salvage this home stand by taking 3 of 3 from the lowly Royals.

Finally, the Braves are playing a crappy interleague opponent. There was a graphic during Wednesday's game that the current combined records of the Braves' interleague opponents is signifcantly higher than everyone else in the division.

Unbalanced schedules suck!

Yeah, it's too bad you guys couldn't play a team like the Yankees.

Think of the marketing campaign: n00bs vs. Geezers.

One division plays another division during interleague play, minus geographical rivalry. I think it's the geographical rivaly thing that is killing your team. Marlins get the benfit of playing TB twice. Mets have (dis)advantage of playing the Yanks twice.

Braves have or will be playing these teams in interleague:
Boston, Texas, LA Angels, Oakland, Baltimore.

Marlins have or will be playing these teams interleague:
Tampa Bay x 2 (geographical rival) Seattle, Texas, LA Angels.

Mets have or will be playing these teams in interleague:
Yankees x 2 (geographical rival) LA Angels, Oakland, Seattle

Phillies have or will be playing these teams in interleague:
Baltimore, Texas, Seattle, Oakland, Boston

Nationals have or will be playing these teams in interleague:
Toronto x2 (previous geographical rival), Oakland, Seattle, LA Angels.

I'd say the Phillies have pretty much the equal schedule. I guess you could make the argument the Braves have to play the Angels where the Phils have to play the Mariners. But it is pretty darn close.

I don't think they would exacly consider that a disadvantage. I mean they could be worse off playing Baltimore....or a powerhouse team like Kansas City.

Love this quote from Brandon, 'complimenting' Maddux:

"He's probably the only guy I ever grew up wanting to watch pitch," Arroyo said of the 39-year-old veteran. "Watching anybody else pitch, guys like Roger [Clemens] or Doc Gooden, were great pitchers, but it was always something special to watch Greg because he was getting people out with mediocre stuff. "

This has been the absolute worst fantasy week for me. I dropped Burnitz two days ago because he sucks batting at Wrigley.

That's why I put (dis) like that. It could go either way for fans of each team.
