Pretty sweet, BDB. Thanks for sharing your pics - looks like you most likely had a good time.

Was that your first time in Turkey? What did you think?

Those are awesome pictures BDB. Thanks for sharing.

You must have gotten pretty good seats. An experience to last a lifetime.

And as B.A. said, how was Turkey? That last picture of the "mosque" or temple is stunning. Would you recomend people to visit Turkey?

Hell yes - I lived there as a little kid and my family loved it.

Lorenzo - I believe that is the Hagia Sophia.

the last pic and the 2nd one are the blue mosque or Sultanhamet as the locals call it,
I had the best time ever, all the turks were brilliant, we spent all kinds of time doing all kinds of crazy things.

Drinking and partying with the locals downstairs in some club was a highlight of one night, seriously it was me and my friend greg down in the basement of some bar/club this thing felt like the backroom of the soprano's . without the hot chicks.

My seat was brilliant 4th row, and I paid $400 on ebay for it. people either side of me paid 400 for there tickets. Some boys got them for face value outside the stadium. I wanted to be able to enjoy the build up in the knowledge that I had a ticket, and yes it was pretty much the best week ever....

Wedding week tops it as the same boys were here in San Fran with me for the build up for that. but all in all an amazing experience made even more so by the manner in which the match unfolded.

I will be going back to Turkey for sure, it was a brilliant time, and I would have no qualms about recommending anyone go for a visit.

Damnit - I knew I should have used Google! I could have sworn that was the Hagia.

hagia is right beside it. so easy to confuse.

of course we spent 2 hours one night trying to find the blue mosque and saw about 5 other mosques that looked the same.
