I just got a call from the new boss telling me that I'll be going to MA for my first assignment, so now I'm trying to grab a decent single ticket to the Sox/Reds on 6/15. I have heard how ticket prices have jumped, but this is insane.

My faith has been wavering on Chacin. He's been struggling lately and not going past the 5th inning in his last 3 or 4 starts.

I do agree with you in regards to Halladay.

"Pitching".......is that what Wells is calling it?

Someone tell Danny Graves to scoot down a bit, he may have company next to him soon (I totally retract this statement if there was any activity today that I missed on the Danny Graves front).......

Nobody is going to pick up Graves. If they do, they have to eat his $9 million contract rather than the Reds. He'll clear waivers after 10 days (9 now) and he'll get a bunch of interest in teams willing to take a flyer on him.

Agreed, but there was a lot of talk today about there being enough interest among teams, that the Reds are considering a BH Kim-esque trade......

Yeah, if they can get anything more than a worthless prospect and not have to pay his entire salary, they need to leap at the chance. And it's a great time for a contender to get insurance on the cheap without battling it out in the FA market.

Looks like Halladay will miss his start on Thursday. He will probably be replaced by some rookie who completely shuts the Sox down.

Seriously. No joking around here. Either something is still physically wrong with Wells or he's just worthless. It's just about time to call it a busted small investment and look elsewhere.

Posada with 2 jacks as well. Yankees opening up a can of whoop ass on the Tigers. Any more runs scored and El Scorcho might label them Retards as well.

Dasm it! The Pro's homer just contributed to Wells' incentives.

RE: ARod's pair tonight: has he had any big games in which the Yankees won by just a run. Seems everytime I see him having a big game, it's a blowout.

Love it!! They're leaving that fat tub of goo in so he still has a chance to blow the game and pick up the L; if anyone's gonna screw this one up, it might as well be Wells.......

The Yankees have only played in 5 one-run games this year. He hit .300 with 2 HRs, 5 walks, 5 runs scored, and 4 RBI in those 5 games.
