Ohio State should jump up pretty quickly after beating Texas in Week 2...
and then 10th ranked Iowa in Week 4....

TruGator 08-05-05 03:36 PM

You know Spurrier is back when you see Duke getting that 1 vote at the beginning of the year.

clemente 08-05-05 06:05 PM

I think pre-season polls are useless just like the rest of you.....but seeing my school at the top is still sweet.

Im going to miss the first Auburn game (against ga tech) this year

a couple months ago.. I checked the MLB schedule to find when the Reds would be playing the Braves (of course, Im a big griffey fan, along with being a big braves fan)..
and i found the matchup at labor day.. So I talked to my contacts to get us luxury suite tickets for that weekend
then a couple weeks ago, I was told the tickets are coming through and I had to pick which day.. friday, saturday, or sunday.. I didnt think about it, and said saturday, just because its most convenient.
Well.. the tickets show up.. and someone points outs its going to be pretty busy in Atlanta with 3 different events going on that night (including the Auburn game)
I couldnt believe i forgot about it.. but I didnt have Auburn tickets, and the suite of course will have several TVs.. So I guess its alright..
Can't believe I forgot about it when I was making my plans

MrX 08-20-05 05:03 PM

That sounds like something only a Bama fan would do;)

twikoff 08-20-05 05:08 PM
