If only Erickson could have been pitching today instead of Penny. There's no way Erickson could lose a game leading 10-0, can there?

You never hear any Dodgers fans complain about letting Beltre go anymore.

Let's see how he's doing over in Seattle: .333 OPS in his last 6 games with no HRs and no RBIs.

For the year he has a .555 OPS with 2 HRs.

He's still hitting better than the Dodgers' 3rd basemen though.

Doesn't matter as long as the rest of the team keeps hitting like they have been.

another great outing for smoltz
too bad he had such a shitty opening day and so little run support.. or he would have some pretty nice numbers

Smoltz tweaked a back muscles after going 5 innings, so let's hope it's not something that'll impact his season.

Jesus, the Mets' bullpen is ulcer inducing. Randolph using 4 pitchers in the 9th and they finally get the win 7-4.
