Well, they've chucked "Gold".
They still refuse to consider Warriors, which is what almost everyone wants it to be, but now they're starting over and involving people in the process.

It doesn't.
In fact, the only Indian guy they trot out that says the name Warriors is offensive to Native Americans is from the northern extremes of Wisconsin. Around here no one has a problem with it.
Except the mega-politically correct Father Wild of Marquette.

But that was then. Obviously, warriors are not exclusive to American Indians and a new logo I'm sure would not use an Indian.
There's no real problem, just a manufactured controversy.
