Maybe the Cardinals lineup can give our pitchers some run support today - that might be nice.

well.. they will be playing the reds, instead of the braves.. and cincy has given up almost twice as many runs this season.

so I think the odds are pretty good

Man and I thought the Braves offense was pretty bad. The Pirates are averaging just under 3 runs per game.

Ortiz got a $43 million contract? Was the GM high?

Yes. And stupid. But we needed a legit #2 starter. When you gotta overpay, do it in style.

We can Blaine Neal go on the fucking 15-day DL, because I want to puke every time I see his ass pitch ...I hope they get this pitching situation fixed soon.

How Surprising - Kerry Wood is visiting his old friend, DL, for about three weeks.

Angels lead 5-0 over the M's thanks to a 2 run homer by Finley (looks like the day off did him good, he's 2-3 batting .167 now), a 2 run shot by Anderson, and a single by Rivera.

Washburn has only allowed 3 hits through 7 innings.

Wow. Tony Clark is a god. Pinch hit double to bring in 3 runs to tie the game against the Giants. Schmidt gave up 6 ER tonight.

Tony Clark now has almost as many RBI pinch hitting as do Troy Glaus and Luis Gonzalez playing every day.

Speaking of Blaine Neal. How about Adam Hyzdu with a 3 run double tonight!! He's actually starting to come through lately.

Suffered through 46 degree weather to finally see the Tigers win in person at Comerica Park (I had been like 0-8). Interesting game with like 7 doubles and 4 triples.

Troy Glaus you are fucking worthless. 2x you've come up to bat w/ the bases loaded this year and both times you've struck out on 3 straight pitches. Keep hitting those solo HRs when they mean nothing, and keep taking it up the ass when it's clutch time.

Arizona should have brought in Brandon Lyon and his SICK curveball instead of crappy pitchers like Bruney.
