Inter need to be banned from European play next year. Hell, I'd consider banning all Italian teams from Europe for a year. The Italian FA have let the Ultra groups do whatever the hell they want for a very long time with absolutely no consequences. It's at the point where the police won't go into the areas where the Ultras sit (and where this crap starts) for fear of their own lives. And it's not just Milan where this is happening (see: The incident at AS Roma in the group stage of the CL where a ref was injured by a coin thrown from the stands, and last weekend at Lazio where large sections of the crowd (the Ultra sections) were displaying Nazi swastikas and other fascist BS (which is illegal in Italy)).

re: Inter, from an article in the Guardian..
, but they need to follow through
One very senior Uefa figure revealed: "My guess is that Internazionale are close to being expelled from next season's competition and will need some very powerful mitigating factors to avoid such a ban."

Penalties are the new rock and roll. Except without the drugs, attractive groupies, mental breakdowns, trashed hotel rooms, public affection, ability to change the world and Bob Dylan.

I had to really try not to bust out screaming in happiness when Liverpool-Juve went to full time.
The best thing is we get to be the ones to take Chelski, their pompous ass of a manager, their russian mob boss owner and their half-billion dollar roster out of the CL. Man, that's gonna be sweet. I hope Xabi shows that fat prick Lampard a thing or two as revenge for Lampard breaking his leg... shake the fat man out of his boots and create some goals.
