Who's getting MLB Extra Innings for 2005?

Count me in-I just wish they would publish a schedule for April. Are the Phillies and Blue Jays the only teams not involved with home team broadcasts?I can't remember one Phillies game from last year.I just hope they show more Orioles games.

I travel too much, so it's not worth it this year. I've been thinking about getting an XM MyFi instead, but I can't part with that kind of money. It looks like MLB Radio for me.

I get enough Braves games on TBS and can just go catch an O's or Nationals game in person when I want to see other teams play.

I would like I have the past two years but I'm moving mid year so not worth it for me. I did get the internet radio broadcasts for 15 bucks though like I have the past 3 or 4 years heh. At least I can listen to the games =\

Although I am elated that the dipshit Chip Carey is gone, now that Steve Stone is no longer part of the broadcasts - I will be a little more hesitant to tune in.

I have Extra Innings for 2005. Last year was the first year that I had it and I couldn't have been happier with it. Being a transplanted Yankee fan now living in Indiana I have no other way to see the Yankee's games.

Nope. Had it last year. I enjoyed it, but all the times I was home to watch it were usually blacked out times due to ESPN or Fox. Plus no HD this year. Next year for sure.

I may get it, but the Orioles and Nationals are blacked out in my area. They're not exactly local teams...

I purchased Gameday Audio for when I'm at work and unable to watch Extra Innings so I'm all set.

I'm getting it next week. I actually have to switch from TimeWarner to Directv as well because of the Timewarner vs. Cablevision mess.

TimeWarner in NY right now dropped FSN NY and MSG, which means pretty much NO Mets games (except weekend games are on WB).
Last year the same thing happened but only for 11 days. This year looks to be in for the long haul due to the Mets getting their own channel next year.

So it's on do Directv for me. Hopefully it goes well.
They are setting it up this Sunday and I'm getting MLB EI with it (and dropping RoadRunner for Verizon DSL, due to cost of Timewarner roadrunner without cable).

Looking forward to the MLB EI.

This is the first year I got it (with the money I saved not being able to get through the virtual waiting room to buy 4 Cubs tickets this year )

Actually, MLB EI was cheaper.

From all information that I've read everywhere, including AVSForum, there isn't an HD baseball channel as a part of Extra Innings.

[Edit] Just double checked. There isn't a channel, there are no HD games on EI, and there aren't plans for any this year.

Isn't it a DirectTV exclusive? Cause we had it last year but now it's not available.

I might. I don't need to cause I already get over 100 Reds games, but I love the sport and would love to see any team I want to at any given time. But, not sure if I can dish out the cash right now.

Most companies will split it up on your bill in 3 parts. If you order now, you save $20 so it would be $130. Not a bad deal.

The only DirectTV exlclusives, to my knowledge are NFL Sunday Ticket and NCAA Mega March Madness.

All the other sport season packages are available on some cable.

I'll look into it. That'd still make the bill like $100 a month for 3 months.
