High school kid hits unbelievable three pointer

I tried to search for this but didn't find anything. My friend just sent me this crazy clip of a kid hitting a three-pointer that needs to be seen to be believed, at the buzzer to tie, and then win the game.

http://kstp.dayport.com/viewer/conte...D=712&Obj_ID=3

(there seems to be a car ad at the beginning of the clip)

Insane shot... but why was it a 3? He was clearly in front of the line

Maybe I'm wrong about the 3. I watched with no sound. But either way it's cool.

Man and I thought it would be like the time in NBA Live where I bounced the ball into the basket. Pretty crazy stuff, but it should have been a two. It was never clear how much they actually gave him though

I still prefer the one of the blond kid getting hit in the head by that full court shot.

and now every kid in the country is going to be practicing that shot
and trying to come up with a situation to attempt it during a game

Crazy shot. Funny thing is that team (Hopkins) was our rival when I played HS basketball.

I'm assuming it's the one of the kid taking the shot while sitting on the floor. It was ESPN's #1 on their top 10 countdown.

I saw a quick glimpse of this last night on ESPN. I'm pretty sure it only counted as a 2 and that the team that made it still lost the game by 2 points.

It's pretty clear that he was awarded two points for the shot; his team won by 11 in double OT.

Yeah, it was a 2.

The amazing thing, as they were just showing on the news here: A reporter went to the kid's home, he was lying on his back in his driveway showing how he took the shot... threw the ball up towards a basket... and it went in.

Wow, about time someone showed up to play in that arena.

Sorry about the cheap shot to the T'Wolves, but with Duncan out for the rest of the regular season I'm starting to get bitter.

Awesome shot cuz he took a few seconds to plan it....I'm surprised no one got over there to block.

It would've been hilarious seeing the ball being swatted into the 7th row.

Living in minnesota, this has been all over the news. It was a 2 to tie the game and send it ot overtime, his team winning in overtime.

They had him on the news last night to see how many shots it would take for him to do it again. It took him 21 shots.

He was on the radio today, and that was the 5th try from his driveway. then they went to the gym and it took him 20 tries before he made it. And they did end up winning in double overtime. the shot was a 2 pointer that sent it into the first OT. They won the state championship.

Although he's sliding when he hits the ground, it seems like he stopped by the time he got the ball. Plus he never switched his pivot cheek

it would've been funnier if the guy blocked it and it went smack into his face

but that shot was freakin' amazing. It's a nice HORSE shot.
