And David Ortiz can say hello to the team that gave him away. Now he's leading the AL in RBIs and doubles.

Ortiz is a beast. Schilling and Ortiz are going to become Theo's legacy.

And they can say hello to the Twins World Series victories in '87 and '91, too.

If the Twins get contracted, do their WS victories get contracted too?

For anyone in a betting mood tonight, the ChiSox take on the Indians. The Indians once again have a chance to reach a game above .500. They have already had 1 attempt earlier in the season to reach a game above .500, and have never done so . It was in April to go 2-3 with a loss against Kansas City.

I dont care that scott elarton is on the hill for the Tribe, it really doesnt matter. Indians lose tonight, its a lock.

Until you regularly hit for the cycle, we don't care what your stats are.

Yeah, hitting for the cycle would be impressive, but you must also announce your goal before each game in an obnoxious way.

I had my bat investigated by the umpire last night after the other team complained that I was using a banned/illegal bat for the HRs.

I was ready to bust out my best George Brett impression if I had to.

Seriously, that was the issue. They seemed to not be able to believe a 5'7" guy can hit a ball 340' or so.

Ump made me piss in a cup too.

For what it's worth, those of you looking for a new bat, the Mizuno Crush (34 in. / 28 oz.) is one hell of an amazing bat.

He claims to have been using a bat that adds 30' to the distance. I don't know how you put cork or superballs in an aluminum bat, but apparently he found a way.

One of my batting practice aluminum bats accidentally slipped into my in-game bag. I am berry berry saddened by this.

Wow. I just realized that the Rangers are back in first place again. I'm not sure how this is happening, but I'm beginning to believe we have a legitimate shot at the postseason.
