Pedro pitching tonight.

Who's announcing the game for ESPN?

And Im guessing David Wells will follow up his strong outing in Boston with a 3 inning shitfest against the Yankees.

Freaking weak. Johnson is pitching for the D-backs today, and it will skip him over when the Yankees are in town on Tuesday - Thursday. Now we don't even have a chance for one win.

No offense, D-tones, but....

I hope he pitches craptacular tonight, and allows at least 7 ER in 6.1.

As a tradeoff, I'll be your biggest fan Tuesday-Thursday, and I hope they can take 2 from the Yankees with Fossum and Sparks.

Oh, shit - Woody's pitching in Arlington.

And somehow, both the Redbirds and the Twins are still in first place.

IBB for Barry in the 5th inning.

Today's stat of the day: Barry has 19 more intentional walks than the next team (48 vs 29 - Cardinals).

Is there anything more disappointing for a Barry fan than watching the guy in front of him hit a double? You almost want to tell the guy in front of him to stop at first no matter where the ball goes.

Sweet, the Cardinals have a little bit of a lead in the third.

And Rolen hit his 17th homer and his RBI total is up to 67.

I always like things like this on CBS Sportsline:

"Thomas homered hard to deep left center."

This implies that you can gently hit a ball 380 feet to left center.

Carlos Lee ties the White Sox record with a hit, extending his streak to 27.

This is impressive, as the White Sox have been around since the days of Classicman's birth.

Coco Crisp and Omar Vizquel hit HR's in the same inning to tie it against the Reds.

Has this ever happened? Have they ever even hit HRs in the same game before?

Not surprisingly, that's how the game is being viewed from a Texas Ranger viewpoint as well!

I hate you Yankees. Tie it up w/ 2 solo HRs in the bottom of the 9th.
