My friend is the quintessential bandwagon fan!

I am a Magic and Buccaneers fan. I've been since as long as I can remember and always will be. My friend is a Lakers fan. Now this I can handle because he truly swears to have been a fan of them all his life. Even though I asked him what team he's gonna like next year and he told me where ever Kobe plays for. Now onto the NFL, back 2 years ago in Tampa's glory days he and I got along great talking about Tampa. I thought he was a Bucs fan, well he was, until he became a Chiefs fan the next year. Yep that winning streak the Chiefs had going was too desirable for him to pass but then the Chiefs got knocked out of the playoffs and he became a, you guessed it!, a Patriots fan. And we all know the story there so now he's sticking to the Patriots until another team wins the first the first 6 or 7 games of the season. So I ask you fellow DVDTalkers, how do I cure this man of his bandwagoness?

Dude, I would never be friends with someone like that! He is weak-minded, insecure, and has no pride. You should tell him that if he doesn't stop being a bandwagon fan, that you will kick his ass.

GO PISTONS!
GO PATRIOTS!
GO YANKEES!
GO LIGHTENING!
GO TIGER WOODS!
GO WILLIAMS SISTERS!
GO SMARTY JONES!
GO FANTASIA BARRINO!

I didn't really see a problem with him being a Kobe fan, but the NFL thing is pretty pathetic. Get him some Chiefs memorabelia for his birthday or something and say you forgot he switched teams again.

I commend you for admitting you're a Magic fan. That's gotta be rough

People that bandwagon jump annoy me since there's nothing you can do but call them bandwagon jumpers. You can't trash their teams since they're good.

Just tell your friend that all the cool people at school root for the teams that suck.

I'm so cool I've been doing this for years!

Go Orioles!
Go Redskins!
Go Blazers!

That sucks to see that some people can't stick with their team through good times and bad.

Go Dolphins!
Go Cardinals!
Go Red Sox!
Go Sacramento Kings!

Well we've had our ups and downs with the Magic. We were in the NBA Finals 9 years ago. There's lots of teams that can't say they were in the NBA Finals in last decade.

I think this says it best.

Any Devil Rays' fans out there besides me? I would have thought our bandwagon would be getting more action seeing as we are only 11 games under 500 now.

I could qualify as a Devil Rays fan. They are the home team but I was never much of a baseball fan. I enjoyed going to the games, baseball with air conditioning!

I can't say I enjoy the atmosphere of Dome baseball but it is nice to have air conditioning. Sometimes it is so quiet and relaxing I want to fall asleep. That is just wrong.

I have a freind who liked the SuperSonic's,then Payton went to the Laker's hand's and he liked them for a minute, then he jumped to Dallas Mav's for a minute, now he is a Piston's fan now that they are winning and it make's me sick, death to all bandwagoner's.

My team's are

Bear's
Bull's
BlackHawks
Cub's/A's

I never once in my life jumped the bandwagon and love the city of Chicago so I will stick with these team's untill im 6 feet in the dirt.

Indians, Browns, Cavaliers. Thats all you really need.

Ill admit that Ive gone to more Cavs games since we got Lebron, but basketball isnt my sport and it just wasnt fun watching Ricky Davis score 30 points but we still lose by 25.

Browns rule.

And I've been to 10 of the last 12 home Indians games. Freakin class kept me out of 1, and a birthday from the other.

Dolphins (and we know the meaning of suffering), Marlins (and I stayed a fan from 98-2002 when 99% of the fans abandoned the team, although they all seemed to come back last year), and Devils (fan since the 80s). But I know plenty of bandwagoners.

'Noles, Bucs, RedSox, and Celtics... I like to pick teams that always play down to their competition and who have great talent, but only few championships (of course the opposite with the Celtics). I love being so close to have it all ripped away from me, its a great feeling...Fans in Florida seem to be the worst bandwagon fans, especially with college football.
