NOMAR NEWS!

Nomar will play today for the Pawtucket Red Sox. He's going to play four innings today and tomorrow. Then he will come back to Boston for reevaluation. In all likelyhood, he will be activated from the DL on June 8 vs the Padres at Fenway Park.

The Yankees and Sox have the 2 best records in baseball (actually the Sox are tied with the Angels right now). I think it'll stay like that for a long time as those two teams battle it out for the division. I hope its going to be an exciting race til the end of the season.

No word from Def lately... Guess he's out of town. Good timing since his 2nd favorite pitcher got killed last night.

Isn't it ironic. I wonder if it was Omaha or Vegas.

How the hell do you get shutout by Jose Lima? The D-Backs must have been staring at his wife's tits all night.

The White Sox and Angels are going to need a miracle to get their game in today. We've had monsoon like conditions here for the past few hours.

I looked at Weather Underground because they said we are going to get hit hard this afternoon and I couldn't believe how bad it was up there. That was one long-ass front.

The Cubs just hit their 9th batter of the series

No warning was issued so one of the Cubs should get drilled in the next few innings

I'll be pissed if the dimensions in the new Cards ballpark are as short as they have been in a lot of the recently-built stadiums.

Schilling had a perfect game through 5 2/3 innings. Why the hell didn't Manny dive for that ball? Maybe a little bit out of his range but you gotta at least try and preserve perfection.

Angels and White Sox, Sox lead 3-1 in the 1st.

Schoeneweis vs his ex Angels teammates.

Friggin' Lackey has walked 3 batters, given up 2 singles and a double, and thrown 43 pitches so far in 2/3 of an inning.

Still 2 men on for the Sox.

Pujols just spoiled the 'Stros shutout in the top of the ninth w/ his 15th homer. Cards are still down, 7-1.

Lackey still in, Harris triples to center and it's 8-1.
