NESN was showing a clip from an old game that I think I was at, then EI cut away due to the Rain Delay.

Perhaps Scorch could pinch hit.
I completely understand - you will get a one-time pass.

Shorto! Get to work!!!

Barrett's grand slam puts the Cubs back in the lead 5-4. Does ANYONE have him in fantasy baseball?

I can try pinch hitting on the news and notes. Tough shoes to fill. I'll try tomorrow morning.

No kidding. He and Alou have that team on their backs.

And Sean Casey is already 2-2 with a double and an HR. He's just mashing hitting everything this year.

So, who in the hell told Derek Jeter to start hitting? He's up from .188 to like .211 in just a few games.

Did anyone hear about Curt Schilling the other day? He was driving home after his start and spotted a drunk driver. He called the police and the guy was arrested.

Angels lead the White Sox 1-0 in the 5th

Vlad with the RBI single in the first.

Doesn't look like Mondesi is playing.

Cards lead the 'Stros 1-0 going into the top of the 8th. Rolen scored the only run of the game in the fourth w/ his 12th home run off of Clemens (who should be leaving the game soon after throwing 123 pitches). It was also Rolen's 50th RBI.

Way to screw up Hampton's good start, bullpen. Phillies win 3-2 in 10.

Going into the 8th, the Twinkies and the Royals are all tied up at one apiece at Kaufmann.
