Hmm, which Matt Morris will show up at the ballpark tonight - the bad one or the one that will be a New York Yankee next season? Wait, he will be a Yankee either way, so I guess it doesn't matter.

Go Matty Mo'!!!!

and Radke - earn your damn money.

I'm thinking he'll end up in Boston after Pedro goes to the Yankees. Whichever one shows up tonight, I hope he can hold his own against the Braves.

I just heard on Sportscenter that the Mets face Randy Johnson, Brandon Webb, Roy Oswalt and Roger Clemens in their next 4 games.

Any word on who's coming up? I know they said Burks is way ahead of schedule, but they aren't going to bring him back that quickly, are they?

If the words "Bobby Jones" show up next, I'll hurl myself in front of a bus.

No, its not him. I think its Jamie Brown. I heard it on the radio, but now I cant find a link. Either way, its not Nomar or Trot.

BTW, funny comment from the Red Sox message board about Kim:

"Cant we option him back to Arizona?"

Thank god they worked out a lucrative deal with him before he proved anything as a starter. $5M per year well spent.

I can pick up a batting tee from the sporting goods store for a ten spot. Similar results, fewer hit batsmen.

And a batting tee is less likely to flip off the fans. Not to mention, most batting tees arent extremely goofy-looking.

I'm curious about one thing, and I hate to pick on the guy's looks (that's a lie), but is his face forever frozen in that painful "Oh shit, I just gave up gave up another World Series game," or what? He turned around during Monday's game on one of the few occasions that he wasn't in trouble, and he looked like he was going to lose it. I hate to say that the guy is forever ruined, but he doesn't have the confidence, control, or ability to start games at this point. And I hope that experiment doesn't return.

No, sometimes he smiles. Thats when he is at his most goofy-lookin. He looks completly retarded.

So what's the over/under on the number of strikeouts for Mike Cameron for those four games? 15?

The Bung Hole Kim situation makes me feel just a little bit better about the Contreras situation. It's nice to know that Boston is having rotation drama as well.

What should also make you feel better is that signing Contreras seemed like a good move. Boston should have known that signing Kim was a bad idea.

You make an excellent point, although at the same time, Contreras is more of a dissapointment than Kim.

Boston being down 4 runs currently to the Indians also makes me feel better.
