He did it!

Roger Clemens is #2 on the all-time strikeout list.

Hey, I'll take the win.

Chipper should be back on Friday, Furcal came into the game today, and I don't suppose Drew will be out too long. Leave it to Drew to get injured while sleeping.

Sox are leading in the ninth, but Mark Bellhorn wears the Golden Sombrero tonight.

Moises Alou up with the bases loaded. I wonder if he tinkered on his hands today?

Yeah, the D-Backs own the Cubs. The Cubs had 6 hits and 3 BB with no runs to show for (and 7 LOB) in 8 innings.

Let's see if they can do anything at the bottom of 9th.

Oh, and Finley is doing all the damage for the D-Backs again, something he really enjoys doing when he plays the Cubs (even though the D-Backs lost that game, remember his 3 HRs in 1 game last week?)

I just saw the replay on Piazza's HR tonight, and I just love watching him hit. Big, long swing, looks like he's swinging a tree trunk, and he just CRUSHES the ball, like it'll never come down.

WTG Mike! You're awesome!

Finley has 6 HRs against the cubs in the past week, and 7 HRs in the past 7 games.

D-backs own the Cubs. Valverde was clutch coming in and getting Alou and then smoking in the bottom of hte 9th.

I think we've found the problem. Or more accurately, the solution.

Woody Williams - you suck.

And Scott Rolen keeps driving in runs - he now has 33 RBI.

Twins are having a nice night though.

And Congrats go out to the Rocket, who refuses to give in to his age.

Sonuva! I just grabbed him off the free agent list and I was apprehensive, but was feeling good early in the game. Then Woody sucks it up in the 6th inning.

Drop him - he shouldn't even be on the roster right now - he should be in extended spring training.

Damn Herges is no Gagne. Sabean should have kept Worrell and Nathan and never signed the other 17 rightfielders.
