Go Matty Mo'!!!

Hopefully it will stop raining for a few hours so I (and the wife) can have a nice game to watch from the bleachers today. Too bad she is actually going to put on her Cubs gear. One of these days she won't do that to me anymore.

Damn, the road grey jackets that the Cubs wear are ugly! Why is MLB requiring all the teams to wear these awful jackets.

Webb just gave up a 2 run HR. There goes the shutout.

Oh well. Still a great pitched game by the kid.

atlanta gave up 3 unearned runs in the first
and 3 more runs in the 2nd.. at least 1 of them was unearned (bases loaded balk), waiting on the official ruling on the other 2

not a good day for atlanta so far

I wonder when managers are going to realize what announcers point out in every Yankees game...lefties don't hit Mariano Rivera. Without fail, though, managers PH for righties when he's pitching. Playing the percentages is all well and good, but it would seem that in his case, hard statistical data may overrule that.

official ruling is that all 6 runs are unearned
so despite trailing 6-0 in the 4th.. ramirez hasnt given up an earned run

I knew it was too much to ask for 2 saves in consecutive days for Mantei. Gives up a 2 run HR to Burrell to tie the game.

Thanks for wasting the ****ing game for Webb you *******.

Jesus Christ. It's not even funny anymore. A closer with a 12.38 ERA, and they won't stop running him out there.

what's the record for errors in a game? Braves with 5 and they're not even out of the 4th inning.

Well Brenly has always thought he would right himself by just being out there and pitching. That's fine and dandy after one or two, but after blowing 4 saves, all off HRs, he's done. If Brenly uses him again, I'm starting an online petition to get him fired. There's no excuse. The D-backs would be over .500 if Mantei was right or if someone else was pitching.
