1st round holdout

After Kellen Winslow II casually mentioned he wanted to paid like a #6 overall pick, his agent (a Poston bro ) said "A lot of teams had Kellen Winslow rated No. 1 on their boards...He's that talented. To come up with a value for a player like this is not that easy."

http://www.cleveland.com/sports/plai...5827154714.xml

Seeing how these *******s are suing the Redskins for signing a contract where they initialed every page and are constantly trying to make Orlando Pace the highest paid human being on Earth I'm wondering if anyone would take the field over KW2 as the last first rounder to sign.

Kepp in mind if Winslow holds out like every thinks he will it will severely damage the Poston bros reputation, and they did get Charles Rogers to camp on time last year.

I believe that the Skins took Taylor over Winslow mainly because they did not want to have to deal with the Postons.

I agree. They are horrible. If I was a GM, I wouldnt do business with any of their clients.

Great poll.

You have to know that Jeff Garcia's pissed. He thought he got away from the kind of crap Winslow is going to put him through.

Winslow seems like the type, too.

Hell, I agree that he's the guy I would have picked #1 for the Jets, but he ought to get paid for his position, not "like he was #1 on a lot of boards."

An interesting question would be which agent does more damage to his client, Boras or the Poston's?

The Postons also represent Denver FA linebacker Ian Gold (who is probably on his way to Tampa). They were looking for a $15M signing bonus for a guy who played 6 games last year before tearing his ACL.

This is even funnier after hearing about the interview process KW Sr. went through to pick an agent.

I liked how he wanted to charge the agents $2500 just to meet w/ them.

Dang, I almost feel like voting for the field. Anyone gonna give odds on that one?

I agree that Winslow's situation looks to be among the worst potential signings out there. Unless Phillip Rivers really wants #1 money or Eli Manning won't accept a little less than he should, I'd don't see any huge problems.

I will guarantee Manning and Rivers get signed before Winslow. Manning and the Giants are under the gun because of Manning's damaged repuation and the fact that's he's already on top of the depth chart, and the Chargers have a bloated rookie cap because of the way in shook out.

Funniest line: Is anyone else excited about Kellen II and LeBron attempting their first 17-step handshake-hug in a Cleveland nightclub?
