04/26/04 - WWE RAW on SPIKE TV!

HAIL TO THE CHAMP
April 26, 2004

Raw Rebound: 56k | 100k | 300k
Monday Night RAW comes to you from Topeka, where World Heavyweight Champion Chris Benoit will undoubtedly be in a joyous mood after enjoying the homecoming of a lifetime in Alberta, Canada just last week. Not only did Benoit successfully defend the World Heavyweight Championship at Backlash in his native Edmonton, but on RAW in Calgary, Benoit & Edge captured the World Tag Team Championship by defeating Ric Flair & Batista.

But with two Championships around his waist, how will Benoit handle the challenges of having to defend both titles? RAW will come to you only one week before Benoit defends the World Heavyweight Championship against Shawn Michaels. How will both prepare leading up to the match? Watch RAW to find out.

With the exception of Randy Orton's victory over Cactus Jack at Backlash, Evolution has had some rough luck as of late. The tip of the iceberg may just have been Batista and Ric Flair's loss of the World Tag Team Championship. If the history of Evolution is any indication of what's to come on Monday night, expect to see Triple H and company on a warpath.

Also last week, Kane revealed that he felt he was going soft and that he would find somebody to sacrifice. An enraged Kane Chokeslammed Matt Hardy to Hell. Are there more victims in Kane's future? Find out on RAW.

All of this and more on Monday Night RAW at 9 pm/8 CT on Spike TV!

I missed the part where Victoria defends the belt against Lita in a cage match.

Sounds like Kane needs to get some Levitra...Val Venis could probably hook him up.

Which is the only "new" match for tonight? Looked like all the others had been done within the last couple weeks .

Ok, The new Victoria is starting to grate on me. First, her entrance turned goofy, and it looks like kissing a baby is officially part of it now. That shake shake backflip looks ridiculous. And she just got stretched by Gail Kim.

But she looked incredible in Yellow, so I'll hang in there a couple more weeks.

So far its a good show. HHH vs Tajiri wasn't bad.
Christian has the best stable on WWE. It's the old school heel group that Evolution tried to be.

Orton just spit on Harley Race! Someone's gotta pay for that one. You can't spit on Harley Race and not have Harley whup that ass!

As we've been posting in the poster thread... yes.

We think that's him in front row with the VIS sign.

I thought it was dull tonight....nothing that really interested me

I could care less who has the tag belts...as they have become so worthless nowadays.....I barely even paid attention to the main event

I was holding the "BIG" sign for a while too, with the Wrestlemania shirt on.

Funny, that's the run-in that I was expecting...

Instead, we got their red, long haired brother..

That would spoil his V-1 finger sign, though.

Best visual of the night - Watching William Regal thrash around in shock when Eugene hit the pyro. I'm so glad he's back.

Harley Race is my all-time favorite wrestler, so I was glad to see him at ringside. Orton aimed his spit high. According to Mick Foley, Race is an expert at splitting a eyebrow, so I wish he would've bloodied Orton. It would've also been great to see Flair & Race acknowledge each other.

Decent women's match. Gail Kim has improved quite a bit. That was a nice submission hold she had on Victoria. Fit Finlay must be an excellent trainer.

Was starting to think I was the only one who can see the V 1 as a modified shocker. Haha

Why do Victoria and Gail Kim have the same entrance music?

Victoria had it first, back when she was crazy and cool. It fit with her supposedly hearing voices or whatever crazy people hear.

Of course it's meaningless now.

Gail Kim has a remix of the same song which makes no sense whatsoever, kinda like her moveset.
