Looks like a whole lotta nothing today. Maybe the Cubs/D-backs game will be good.

Yup. I get out of school 1 hour after the game starts, so I guess I'll be watching it at the bar on campus.

That'd be nice. But should they?

Personally (as a fan), I wish they pitched to Bonds in almost every situation too and walk him only as much as they walk the clean up batter in any other team. That's what I WANT.

But pitching to Bonds may not be the best thing for the team. What they SHOULD DO is maybe walk him every time. Even if it's the first inning and there's a guy on 1st and 2nd with no outs (some managers seem to think so).

okay, that was a walk situation, no?

2 outs. runner on 1st. the best hitter on the other team is up. ok, maybe not necessarily. how about:

2 outs. runner on 1st. bonds is up.

Wow, they're walking Bonds with guys on 1st and 2nd (2 outs). Ouch. Maybe it's still the best strategy?

We'll see. Bases loaded now.
