My COMPLETE Seven Round Mock Draft

I just finished my full mock draft (all 7 rounds). This was mostly a need mock, I tried to fill team needs rather than draft for the "best player available". I predict that SD will trade down twice: with NYG (for R1, R2 and WR Hilliard) and with JAX (R1, R2). I also predict that CLE will trade up with OAK (R1, R2)

Comments appreciated.

ROUND THREE
21. Seattle - Nathan Vashar CB Texas
CB is not a position of need for the Seahawks that early in the draft, unless Vasher can play SS.

Other than that, looks good for Seattle... especially since the first two picks matched my picks in our mock draft.

I didn't look, I swear

As for CB not being a need pick, according to two scouting services, it is. They lost Springs, and Trufant is not yet a true #1 CB. Irvin is probably at best a nickelback, but they do need three strong corners.

They picked up Bobby Taylor from the Eagles. Taylor and Trufant are easily the two starters, with former starter Ken Lucas the third.

Losing Springs was definitely a good thing. Who is Irvin?

Ken Lucas, sorry, got the last names mixed up.

I can't imagine that Taylor is really the answer, and I'm not convinced he could keep up with the St. Louis' of the world week in and out.

Damn. He was off my radar because he wasn't on my scouting sheets because he didn't play in 2003.

I'm going to go back into my draft, but I'd put him anywhere on the second day.

Good job! That would be something if S.D. could trade down twice and still get the guy they want.

I would be very surprised if Washington didn't take Winslow.

In the 2nd round, New England traded their first pick, not their second. So Cincinnati should be pickin 24 instead of last.

PK Sam going in the 3rd. Take that, Dah-Dee!
