Corey Fuller hosts high-stakes Poker game

The team from Playmakers has nothing on the Baltimore Ravens.

No word on whether LT, David Lee Roth, or Frank Sinatra, Jr. were there.

How stupid. Raiding a card game? Wow. Let the boys play poker. Who are they hurting?

Imagine the horror of finding out that football players actually gamble and play cards. I never would have imagined!

State law allows card players to gamble up to $10 a hand
Interesting. I'm going to have to check out Illinois' laws. Further, I wonder how that limit translates to a no-limit tourney hold'em with a fixed-amount buy-in where each player gets $500 in "play money."

How stupid. I'm sure if you raid every team's plane while it's travelling, you'll find some players playing cards with money on the table. I remember when the first Dream Team had those preperation practices against the best college players in 1992. Chris Webber was saying that at night, he went by Barkley's hotel room and Jordan, Pippen, Ewing, etc were in there playing cards. Webber estimated that there was over $30K in the pot at one point.

(Of course, Webber has proven to be the biggest fraud liar a$$hole on the face of the Earth, so it may have been $30 for all I know - but I digress.....)

If Jordan's in the game, you bet your ass there'd be 30 large in the pot.

But that would be like $10 to them.
