Thanks for the heads up, thought this was next week for some reason!

edited to add: Great, and we get not 1, but 2 impromptu rap concerts before the fight starts.

Yeah, that was pretty silly. Great fight, though.

Man, what an ending. Brewster took an absolute beating but couldn't be put away and then just beat the hell out of Klitscho there in the 5th.

Wow. What a great fight from Brewster. In all seriousness, Vladamir needs to retire.

Reminds me of that Simpson episode where Homer would just take punches all night just to wear his opponent out.

I'm convinced Roy Jones at 200 pounds would beat the snot out of Wladamir.

As Roy said "If his chins like that, he'll stay away from me"

Good doubleheader!

I thought that Judah deserved an interview at least. He definetly won more than few rounds in that fight and finished strong. Spinks is lucky that wasn't a 15-rounder. And I would have LOVED to see that one judge's card that had Spinks ahead by 5 points.

Poor Vlad. First it was the chin, now it's the stamina.

I can't say I missed having Roy on the mic for the HBO crew, but he does have a point on how today's "Giant" heavyweights have a conditioning weakness. That's a sign of hope for the smaller heavys.

Sweet golly my bet for the match to end under 6.5 rounds came through.

I knew someone would get a beatdown tonight, I just wasn't sure who.

Nope.

I don't hear any pissing and moaning that this Klitschko was ahead on points.

Vladamir has a good stiff jab, decent footwork, and lots of power, unfortunately he has a glass chin, and also has no stamina. To be the best heavyweight you have to have all the components in the ring. Sadly, it looks like this will be the end of his career. Vitali on the other hand, looks more promising. He has arguably more power than his younger brother, a much better chin, and can go the distance (e.g. fight against Lewis). I can't wait to see him whip Corrie Sanders ass in 2 weeks.

The best heavyweight I've seen in the past 5-6 years was Ike Ibeabuchi. Unfortunately, mental and legal troubles have prevented him from continuing professional fighting. This is quite sad because I think he could of gone all the way to the top.

Vitaly didn't go the distance with Lewis.

Okay, but it made it pretty far. Would of made it further if it wasn't for that nasty cut. Point being is could take Lewis' shots and could administer his own pretty well. His chin was pretty solid during that fight too. This is something Wladimir has proven he cannot do.

"can go the distance." The 6 very physical rounds with Lewis (a true heavyweight), stopped not because of lack of endurance but a severed eyelid, indicates that he has the stamina and heart to go the distance in a manner far above anything his brother has shown.

I agree with that. There's no way that Wladimir would've matched up so well with Lewis as his brother did.

I think the brothers should face off for a bout.
