Pedro vs Halladay should be a great matchup. Hopefully, Pedro can eat up 7 or 8 innings and give the bullpen some rest.

How many of you would cancel a date just so that you could stay home and watch a baseball game?

Yeah, me neither. I'm making her come over to my house to watch the game with me.

Go Cubbies!

Okay. Astros vs. Arizaukee - "Hard-Luck" Redding is pitching against Sheets today. Hopefully, he may actually receive something that he rarely has seen - 4 or more runs to work with. Unfortunately, my request to throw Miller for all three games was apparently rejected. This will be a test to see if the Astros continue their pattern of either putting up double digits or one.

Sox vs. Toronto - Roy Halladay v. Pedro. Roy's hasn't been very tough early in the season for the last couple of years, so here's hoping that the Sox can get hit him hard. We'll see how Pedro rebounds from a not-as-terrible-as-everyone-thinks performance.

And I get to miss both games.

Sox bats looking awake again today. Then again I think it might have more to do with the questionable pitching of the yankees, contreras, then this bum today, never even heard of him...

[email protected] valentin, he can bat but play a sold ss he cannot. Where's nomar when we need him.

Like to see those red sox get back to winning, and cubs winning wouldn't be so bad

I wish I could figure out the Orioles logic of carrying 12 pitchers especially in April when rainouts are common. There is no point of having this many .I would rather carry an extra couple of bench players(I see Javy Lopez caught last night after being in the line-up as a DH).Since last season they have lost Jason Johnson,Pat Hentgen,Sean Douglass and John Stephens.Douglass and Stephens never were given a chance and hopefully they will leave there younger pitchers in the games to gain experience rather than making 7 pitching changes every game.

The only thing I can think of is that many managers tend to keep pitch counts down for the first outing or two, and so you need to have an extra reliever to pick up the slack.

But also, most teams carry 12 pitchers during the year anyway. It's just part of the evolution of baseball.

It looks ok, but I can scroll horizontally through empty space for about 10 pages.

It doesn't really affect anything per se.

Pretty weak turnout for baseball fans today. Where is everyone?

Halladay and Pedro tonight!

It's the weekend. Yep. That's a great matchup. Too bad I don't have MLBEI yet.

Ah, thanks. You know, I follow the exact same procedure every time, I don't understand it.

Without looking at the tables, I'm guessing that something made Excel think there were a million columns in the spreadsheet.

I'm not gonna mess with it though in this thread.

when you dropped them into excel
did you highligh all cells and resize them all at once?

sometimes, if I do that, it will cause this exact problem

in which case, I just copy the data and paste into a blank sheet and bring the source out again
