Livingston's high school coach said he's 50/50 between Duke and the NBA but rumor out of Peoria is his family is interviewing agents. He won't drop past Charlotte at #4 if he comes out.

Josh Smith is talking about suing the NCAA so he can be eligible next season at Indiana. He's played in 3 all star games and would be suspended for a year according to NCAA rules.

Bracey Wright might go to Europe becasue he hates Mike Davis.

Devin Harris is leaning toward staying at Wisconsin.

Wow, 2 of Indiana's recruits are rumored to be headed to the NBA, and their best returning player? Davis is going to be hurting if it goes down like that.

I have a feeling we are going to see a lot wishful posting in this thread.

Fortunately, as a Terps fan, with our entire rotation returning as sophs and juniors, save 1 person, we have no such concerns.

Jeez. He commits to Duke. Bails on them. Gets granted a "qualified" release. Petitions the NCAA to play immediately. Wins his petition. Plays one year on a last place team. Then goes pro. Minnesota has to be asking themselves "was it worth it?"

Sucks for Minnesota - they've been trying to build themselves out of the hole that Haskins dug for them and Humphries was the best player they have had in years. On top of that - Reickert took a stupid pill last year and left after two years. He was a second-rounder and isn't even in the league now.

Man, I saw him in high school and he was the real deal, but he wasted it. Commited to Michigan. Went to Ohio St. Ended up at Eastern Michigan to be with his girlfriend. Now this. Too bad.

Reickert took a stupid pill last year and left after two years and where is he at now exactly?
Last I saw, he was in Europe, I think.

Humphries talked about going straight to the NBA out of high school. The reason he backed out of his Duke commitment was becasue you can't go to school for a year and become a first rounder sitting on the bench behind Williams, Deng, and Randolph.

Maggette was the first guy off of the bench. Humphries would have been behind Randolph and since he only got in when Williams or Deng were in foul trouble their would not have been a lot of minutes for him.

I think Humphries would have had plenty of minutes in the Final Four.

I can't imagine that Josh Smith would actually succeed in suing the NCAA. He's already drafted IMO although I think that he's basically Darius Miles incarnate.

I still don't see how he's considered a lottry pick. He's got an NBA body and is a decent defender but he has one of the ugliest shots I've ever seen in my life and it's just as ugly now as it was when I saw him in high school.

He just oozes potential because he passes so well according to his stats. I don't really buy it. I think he still needs work since he relies on his athleticism too much.

"Exclusive: InsideHoops.com reports that Ricky Shields, a 6-4 185 pound junior from the University of Rutgers, is declaring for the 2004 NBA draft. Shields will not yet sign with an agent. If he does not get invited to the Chicago pre-draft camp, or is not projected to be taken in the first round of the draft, Shields will return to Rutgers for his senior season. This past season, he averaged 15.0 points and 4.6 rebounds per game. Shields stepped up in the N.I.T, averaging 18.6 points per game."
