Who is your pick for the Madden 2005 cover?

Since it is almost a "lock" that that person will be injured at some point this year?

2001 was the first year withour Madden on the cover, which started out great and has since turned into a curse for whoever takes the cover.

Eddie George 2001 cover (2000-2001 season)
Ran the ball 403 time (wow!) for 1509 yards and 16 TDs overall
Career average: 346 carries, 1283 rushing yds, 10 TDs

Daunte Culpepper 2002 cover
Injured - only played in 11 games
Was on pace to throw 13 fewer TD's, 3 more INT's, and fumble the ball 13 more times than in 2000-2001.

Marshall Faulk 2003 cover
Injured throughout the year - played in 14 games
Had 330 fewer overall yards than his career average and 3 fewer overall TD's and he failed to gain 1000 rushing yards for the first time in five years.

Micheal Vick 2004 cover
Injured in preseason

I've heard Ricky Williams, Terrell Owens and even possibly a draft pick might be used. Of course it's safe to assume it won't be Pat Summerall since he is already sidelined.

If I were a head coach and I heard one of my players was offered the cover of the game, I'd set his arce down with the quickness and he'd turn down that offer.

**** the curse. Put Brady on the cover. He'll end this stupid curse.

Williams and Owens are terrible picks. They are both coming off down years.

No, there's no such thing. Maybe there is a curse for not being on the cover! Plenty of players weren't on the cover, and they got injured! Must be a curse.

If the cover person is guaranteed to be injured please let it be Warren Sapp.

He wouldn't fit on the cover.

They had a pre-order box at a local game store and it had Brady on the cover. It did not look to be an official cover though, just something hastily put together so it may not have been from EA. I hope he is though, golden boy needs to have something go wrong

There has already been some talk about the cover and if this game will be available on the Gamecube. The initial press release did have Brady on the cover and omitted any reference to the game being on the GC. However, follow up POP displays have just the Madden 2005 logo and list GC on the packaging. Could we see a return of Madden to the cover?

I hope TO is on the cover. Then maybe he will get hurt, sit out most of the season and have the fans in Philly wanting his head on a pole by the end of the year.

Brady is unjinxable.

Superbowl MVP 2 of the last 3 years should get you on the cover. And put him on the cover of SI every week, too. Then you can end 2 curses.
