For the NHL, when I was travelling it was at least $80 for decent seats, and $50 for nosebleed. The local AHL team tickets goes for about $20 a pop, which is not too bad, but hard if you want to make it a family event.

Season tickets for the Red Sox and Patriots are sold out. I got 1 pair of tickets for the Red Sox this year. They were $65 each. Parking will probably be $25, and snacks will be equally overpriced.

I only go to Sox games if I get good tickets. These two tickets were a Christmas present, so that will probably be the only time I will go.

Unfortunately, ticket prices are becoming a luxury that only corporations will be able to afford.

I'm getting a $9 discount on my Padres seats at Petco Park, so each game runs $36. I _will_ find a way to park for free (probably will park far away and ride my bike the rest of the way), and I don't patronize the concessions. Figure $2 per game for gasoline. I'm sliding in at under $40 per game.

Damn Petco Park. I was well under $20/game last year.

I forgot to add my Red Sox info.

I went to two games last year. Each time the ticket cost $75 per seat. We take the T in so parking is a mute point.

I did just spend almost $200 in Pawtucket Red Sox tickets. The gf and I are going to 17 games this season.

I think I spent around $80 for two ground level tickets for a Dodger game last year.

I'm going to Lakers vs. Spurs at Staples on Sun. Seats up top, 2 tickets $10 each. I had tickets lower level earlier this season, at $185 each

I went and checked it out, now that it's playoff time comming up in for the Leafs starting prices for cheap seats are $70 and for premium seats it's $610 and that's only for the first round of Playoffs. I can't imagine what the cost would be for the final round.

When i go see the white sox i go on either half price Monday or Tuesday when tickets are only $11 for good seats. The funny thing is the parking is more then the ticket at $15.

I go to about 40 Baseball games a year-- Have been as close as 6 rows back at Wrigley (behind batters box $28), I also tend to sit in Outfield rsvd @ Coors, (1st 3 rows always @ $16). The key to going to games is to avoid the weekends.

The normal cost for a K1 match here is around $200. The $60 are cheaper and they are so far inside the stadium

Wow, thanks for the details!

I still think Shaq should bring you beer and peanuts, or at least send you a Hallmark card thanking you for your time and money

Last time I went to see the Montreal Canadiens 2 or 3 years ago, it was $120 for a good seat, and about $7 for a beer.

Mine is $375 for 6 games and then there's the donation to just get tickets. Hopefully the ROI will be better this year.

If you want to get a chance for dugout seats at Wrigley the A games will be $250 a pop. WTF? Do they let me bat in the game?
Do I get to chew on Bakers toothpick or inject 'substance' into Sosas' butt? I'll be fair - there are a couple of games at $50 and a couple of more at $100.

Seats Link

I still think football is the best value...not a huge final cost for season tickets and almost every game 'can' mean something since the season is only 16 games in total.

$265 for 6 games
4 hour drive each way, so gas is $$$$, plus whatever I spend for food/drinks.

Ouch.

I don't know yet. I haven't been to any sporting events since I have lived in Charlotte (just about 2 years now). Definitly going to hit up some basketball games once the Bobcats get going. I don't think they have released single game ticket info yet.

How often do you actually go? I don't think Paul McCartney charged that much for tickets. The NBA is the worst for ticket prices. I've been a fan for most of my life and never went to a game before this year. When I finally did go it was $30 each for nosebleed seats. 2 rows from the top! We were literally looking down on the scoreboard! And I thought NFL prices were bad. The only one I find worthwhile to go to is outdoor baseball and it's the one I enjoy watching the least. You can still get decent tickets for around $20 for Mariners games. And the cheap seats are under $10.

I've never done an average price for baseball games, but I think I might be around $35 for the seats. Factor in a few beers and brats before the game for about $30 a person, and it's close to $70 per game.

I've had a few games comped to me, but not many. I need to find more friends.

In KC, we have very contrasting ticket prices for our teams. The Royals have some of the cheapest tickets in the leauge. Where as the chiefs on the other hand have some of the highest (non suite) ticket prices in the league.

Last year I belive that KC's lowest price tickets where 10$ more than the NFL Average (Premium Suites prices aren't included, as KC doesn't have any)! And they raised them up another 10% this year! Which means that to get into the Nosebleed section of Arrowhead, it is going to cost around 70-80$ per person. Also Parking is a ****ing joke as it will be atleast 20$ per car, and Arrowhead is away from downtown, so parking isn't really at a premium there.

Royals tickets range from 7-25$ Crown Seats are like 100 apiece, and parking was 6$ last summer.

Needless to say since the cheifs didn't feel like even trying to upgrade the defense Iwon't be spending my money on the them this year. But I do plan on making several visits to one of MLB's most beatuiful parks this summer, in Kaughman Stadium.
