I'm definitely pulling for UConn and Bama since I have UConn going all the way in all of my pool and I have Bama to the Elite 8 in one pool.

As for the other 2 games, I've hedged btwn Pitt and Ok St in my pools. Therefore, if Pitt wins, I hope Wake wins (since I have that as a Elite 8 matchup in one pool). If Ok St wins, I hope St. Joe's wins (since I have that as an Elite 8 matchup in another pool).

I put money on UConn coming out of Phoenix and Duke coming out of Atlanta.

How can you find out which games you'll get? the Pitt-OK game is by far the one i'm most interested in watching, but I fear i'll end up watching UConn destroy Vandy for most of the early evening

I checked the website of my local CBS affiliate. My guess is that only PA and nearby areas (not including NY) and the Big-12 area will get Pitt/OSU.

(But will Wake win? With the way they play defense, I'm not optimistic.)

Out here, I have to assume I get the OklaSt-Pitt game, followed by StJ-Wake.

Edit: wrong! We always get Big 12 games out here, and there is a rather large contingent of people from that area of the country living here, but it appears we get UConn-Vandy as well.

Woohoo!

We get OK St/Pitt in here in Chicago.

OT: An intersting rumor I heard today is next season will be Gene Keady's last at Purdue and Steve Lavin will take over for him.

This should have a multi-choice poll for who will win.

Did you ever see the overtime of the "Turtle" glory game, Red Dog? I've still got it on the TiVo for ya.

Polls. Who do I look like? Zogby? I cover the basics: schedule, times, tv coverage and most importantly, spreads.

Don't worry about that Terps game. Hopefully it turns up on Classic someday.

Think Phil is gonna rip Billy Packer a new ******* after they win?

We could have another situation similar to Roy Williams and UNC this weekend. Rumor now is Keady is leaving Purdue today for the University of San Francisco.

If that happens Stallings from Vandy who was a former asst to Keady at Purdue, though some say he didn't leave on good terms, and Thad Matta from Xavier would both be candidates for the job along with Lavin.

Interesting. That would be sweet if Stallings got the job. He is considered one of the basketball greats at my high school (he graduated in '78 and went on to play for Keady @ Purdue).

5 hours away from opening tip. I can't wait. I really can't wait for the showdown btwn Jameer Nelson and Chris Paul, senior vs freshman. That should be great.

Should be interesting tonight. Every time I have watched Syracuse play on tv, Gerry Mac has stunk up the joint. Tonight, we don't get the Cuse game in DC so I predict a huge night for Gerry Mac.

well we know why they are starting it at 7:10 - so CBS can show 9 minutes of commercials before tipoff
