Program to calculate baseball stats?

For my high school teams I'd like to keep track of all the kids' stats. So that way at the end of the year I can give them a sheet with all their stats: avg, obp, slugging, walks, etc..

Any programs out there that will do all this?

I could..but I have no idea how to do any of that, and the formulas could get complicated.

EDIT: I just tried a quick search and they all seem to cost around $50, and have way tooo many options. Any simple FREE ones?

Yeah, divide the # of kids on the team by 50. Charge em each the result = free.

Tom,

If you ask Elf nicely maybe he'll convert a spreadsheet of the Destroyers for you to use (you'd have to add walks though).

It is true, I do calculate all that stuff for my teams.

Tom, I have no idea of any free programs.

I'm sure I could help you do a basic version of what you wanted in Excel. The formulas are very easy. Only SLG, ERA and WHIP are remotely complicated, and even those are pretty easy too.

Would you want just a printable sheet that lists all the players all on one sheet? Or would that be too mean for the sucky kids?

Anyway, if you can't find anything and want help doing it in Excel, send me an email.

I figured you'd get a laugh out of that and be able to help Tom at the same time.

Tom? Steven? How did everyone get on a first-name basis here? I don't know anyone's first names.
