Nothing wrong with the NIT, good experience for young teams in many cases.

I hope WVU can get a win or two to build on for next year, but I really don't like that opening round match-up at Kent St.

I thought this thread was about a personal attack on someone named Nit.

I came in here for a discussion about the eggs or young of a parasitic insect, such as a louse.

I thought this was a new ESPN commercial about "Without sports..."

Instead, it's people getting excited to be able to cheer, "We're number 65 66!!!! We're number 65 66!!!!"

Go UH Rainbows!!!!!!!

(Yes, it is a poor consolation prize, but I am so glad that Phil Martin's final shot attempt as a Rainbow will not be the potential game-tying basket that somehow went in and came back out! )

It just sucks that we have to travel for 13 hours to get to the site, while Utah State is comfy at home.

65 teams make the ncaa tournament

so some people think of the NIT winner as the #66 team

So,who are some of the favorites to win it all?
I must say the true Pick'Em Champion are the ones that can consistently pick the winners of these inconsistent teams.

Hmm, maybe I should rename the DTSL BOTR tournament to the NIT.

Utah State didn't do much to make their case that they should have been in the field of 65, losing by 11 to Hawaii at home. Ouch.

Wow, Luke Jackson scored 29 straight points for Oregon (and 40 overall) to lead them back from a 15-point halftime deficit.

Check out Oregon's side of the game log. Oregon went 13:26 without having anyone but Jackson score, but he dropped 29 in that time.

My Rainbows were terrific last night!!!!!!! Crisp passing, great patience, great use of the shot clock in the closing minutes. We shot 61% for the game! Go Bows!
