Nebraska -3 looks like a tempting play Friday. Of course, the one time I played Neb this year (vs PSU), they were giving 10 and only won by 8 because they could not do crap in the red zone.

You're right. I need to consider how much those kids want to visit Shreveport.
Maybe I ought to bet Nebraska heavier.

yea.. saturday normally gets its own thread
although, I dont guess this saturday will be much bigger than friday
and Ill pretty much miss all of friday, as we fly back home

Dang why are all the Friday games during the day, they should spread them out, I guess I'll be able to catch part of the Nebraska/Colorado game before I turn over to the Arkansas/LSU game

You forget your own theories on college football:
Bowl = conference kickback to University = under-the-table kickbacks to players manifest in hookers and SUVs = more effort from players. There's a certain elegance to it all.

As has been noted before, Nebraska's biggest flaw is an inability to come from behind at any point (like you said, they don't throw the ball). If they get down by more than a touchdown, go ahead and end the game before you have to invoke a Mercy Rule.

Matt Jones has just played horribly. Give credit to LSU for capitalizing though. They are a very good team. But Arkansas will never win big games until they get more variety on offense, and until they learn to play defense as tough as they do with their running game.
