Gotta go with the Pacers. They are just way too deep. Plus add that to their physical play, leadership, THREE all-stars, and they cannot be stopped.

I can see Detroit playing against them in the eastern conference finals. They got a tough defense and a team that's hard to matchup against.

Nets and Celtics....good teams but not good enough.

I like Indiana as well. I find it amazing that they have a totally different team than the one that went to the finals 2 years ago. A great job from the front office and Zek

Lakers winning or not, whoever comes out of the East (Indiana is who I say) will not get past any of the West teams, I guarantee it.

Key phrase: "as long as it lasts."

Y'all know deep in your hearts that the Lakers are on cruise control and allowing people to think that they're down and out. But in reality, they're holding it in and looking to be the first 8th seed to win the championship.

God, that Phil Jackson is truly a genius!

He is a genius but his plan will be thwarted because I think the Lakers will be higher than 8th. 5th or 6th, I'm thinking.

Just like a Laker fan. Take a thread that has nothing to do with them and turn it into their typical circle-jerk.

The Pacers will make it to the Eastern Conference finals, but will be disqualified when Ron Artest goes berserk and takes out half of the opposing team in Game 3.

I may be wrong, but I believe Houston was an 8th seed when they won one of their championships in the mid 90s. 1994, I think.

Houston was the 6th seed in the 1994-95 season when they won their second title.
