You know.. I'm actually rooting for my team to have a winless season..

Though I'm worried that I might win against HTQ

I was worried about the dopplegangers.. but they beat me by double the runs..

thor i saw that crazy score from that first game you started.
jeeze!

then you played again and beat me 10-5?

i'm up 11-5 in the game i just started.

does anyone think that thier team is better in games you start yourself.
in other words win more games that you start and lose more games started against you.

Usually for me it is just the opposite, all stadiums including intel. Don't think there is any reason. Probably is actually pretty close to 50-50 in reality, but our impressions may be off. I know mine sure are.

Looks like you'll be heading to 1st league in both sports.
No, you said nothing about no one having accomplished this feat before.

Anyway, only 3 get promoted, so I have a long way to go.

just finally got a chance to train my guys.. entire team was on about 40 hours pie.. so the scrubs have been losing pie for most of the day..
not sure if Ill be around after the post training funk wears off.. but if Im still awake, Ill start my games tonight

and I dont have any interest in a soccer league
i thought it was a good idea till I played the game.. but found it too boring..

Not nearly as fun as baseball I'm afraid.
How much time did you give it? I think you need to get to at least 5* before watching the games becomes fun.

I didn't like it that much at first either, but just kept training anyway, and rarely played any games. Now I'm closing in on 7* and loving the game.

i gave soccer a few weeks (3 or 4)
its not just that the games were boring.. the training was even worse, in my opinion.
i dont think i could stay with it long enough to make them 5*, because i dont think i could bare to force myself to continue to training daily

question for everyone..

when training catch.. do you use the catch circle one player at a time? catch circle 2-3 players at a time?
or do you use the fielding area 3 players at a time?

bearing in mind that none of these method gives pure catch.

the catch circle gives catch + throw.
fielding gives catch + run.

I'm not sure which would be the best area to try and rebuild skills.

Vryce, I've _never_ used the tossing circle. I've _never_ used the fielding area (for anything other than batting skill). I do all my catch training in the catching pen.

What I've done with my new teams is max out players in skills that can be isolated (run, throw, pitch for the most part). Then, when I work on the skills that cannot (such as catch), almost all gains are in the targeted skill.

WTH?

I trained 24 hours ago (24h 20m), and expected full pies for my benchies and half pies for my starters. Found they had slightly more than 3/4 pie for my benchies and about 2/5 for my starters.

Haven't even opened up either trainer to change lineup, let alone do any training since last night.

So somehow I've lost 5 hours of pie.

Anyone else have a similar problem?

Dancinns, are you gonna try to get your soccer team into the Pro Leagues for next season? I won't play you if you are making a run.

DarkElf: I've actually had times where I've trained at 5pm, gone to train at 3 pm the next day and my regulars had probably 28 hours of pie.

Vryce: I use the catching circle with only one guy in it to train catch....

So you stole my pie, you frickin thief!

If you put 1 guy in the tossing circle, do you get run gains instead of throw gains?
