TV: NBA League Pass -- anyone have it?

They're doing a free preview this week on the Dish Network. $159 for the full season or $99 for the half season. Anybody here (either on DirectTV or Dish) have it? How much do you actually watch it?

The idea of having a basketball game on TV to watch every night sounds enticing but not so much at the tune of $99.

I don't have it, but $159?!?

Seems kind of steep, even if it is basketball every night.

Comes out to a little over $20/month. Not too bad in that light.

I've got Dish Network too. I didn't realize they were doing that promotion. Do you know if it's a local thing or nationwide? I didn't hear about it.

Hey if you've got dish, turn on channels 550 and up. All the NBA games are on for free this week as a preview. They're doing it nationwide.

It's $99 for the rest of the season if you want it.

Monthly I guess it doesn't seem too bad.

I had it last year and ended up not watching it too much during the first half of the season because I was more focused on football, but did watch it a lot more the second half of the season. If you really enjoy basketball $99 is not too bad considering you can see pretty much every NBA game. Plus, if you are in a fantasy league you can track your players and watch players you are considering picking up.

Though this would definitely count as you giving money to the NBA.

Yeah, I've considered this. What a dilemma. On one hand I've really enjoyed the free one-week preview and have used it to it's fullest potential. On the other hand, I don't want to put a cent into the NBA's hands.

Another free preview. They had one at the beginning of the season. I was so sad when that week ended. I imagine I'll be sad again when this one is over
