Does anyone actually follow the WNBA??

I heard tonight that the Moheagan Sun Casino here in Connecticut is making a bid to get a WNBA team. My question is....why? Is there really any interest in this league?

You mean the MBNBA? (Man Beast National Basketball Association)

Nope.

One and Only WNBA Thread

I think a tree fell in that thread, but no one was there to hear it.

I met Lisa Leslie once. She was tall. That is the extent of the positive things I can say about the WNBA.

Hopefully they have Gatorade Lay-up contest to go with the AT&T Medium-Distance shootout at the WNBA All-Star weekend this year.

funny you should use the word 'follow'..

on the train lately i've been seeing a lot of espn ads... saw one last night with 2 manly looking wnba 'stars', and the tagline was 'Without sports, who would we follow?'...

i was thinking Phish.

other lines on these ads include 'Without sports, weekends would be weekdays.'

pretty weak.

I hear that the NBA is just like the WNBA, but with men.
