Post you're personal sporting event pictures here

I thought maybe we could start a place where we can post pictures from some of the sporting events we go to. I find the views of sporting events from a fans perspective interesting to see.

Well here are mine from Saturday November 2, 2002 in Ottawa between the Ottawa Senators and the Detroit Red Wings. The Red Wings lost 5-2.

Anyone remember this guy? I took these at a small all-star event one summer. These were taken during Kevin Johnson's rookie season.

My 2002 pics

2002 NCAA Tournament - Cal vs Penn - Mellon Arena, Pittsburgh, PA
Cal won the game to advance to the 2nd round, where they lost to Pitt

2002 SF Giants home opener - Giants vs Padres - Pac Bell Park, San Francisco, CA
The Giants won the game on a Bonds home run in the bottom of the 10th, I think. The first of about 65 Giants games I went to last year.

2002 Oakland Athletics home opener - A's vs Rangers - Network Associates Coliseum, Oakland, CA
Oakland won 8-3, the first of about 25 A's games I went to in 2002.

2002 SF Giants On-Field Photo Day - I don't remember the date
Got a pic of Bonds up close while he was meeting the crowd, and a pic of me and Jeff Garcia who I saw sitting in the bleachers that afternoon!

2002 Oakland Athletics - some random game
Some random guy gets arrested after running on the field

2002 SF Giants - Robb Nen's 300th save - August 6, 2002

2002 SF Giants - Barry Bonds' 600th career home run - August 9, 2002

2002 SF Giants - September 11, 2002

2002 California Golden Bears - Football home opener - Memorial Stadium, Berkeley, CA
Cal beats Baylor in the first game of the season

2002 SF Giants - National League Championship Series - Giants vs Cardinals
Giants clinch the NL pennant for the first time since 1989

2002 SF Giants - World Series - Giants vs Angels
Giants lose to Angels in 7 games, but they won Game 4 at home, pictured here

I have some Warriors pics somewhere too... I'll dig em up sometime...

Nice pics Zuffy. I really miss going to Yankee Stadium and Fenway Park - don't miss Shea that much . At least I have Wrigley here in Chicago though (Comiskey is awful).

Texas A&M vs. Virginia Tech - 9/21/02

There was a ceremony to honor 9/11's victims. They had this football field sized flag and also a B-52 flyover.

By the way, I don't know if there is a size max, so please don't post any huge pictures.

Goat3001,

That's an AWESOME shot!

TDD,

Thanks. I've got a great seat that day, first row across from home plate in visitor side. Here's a couple more from the Cubs game:

So Cow - despite the horrendous game you had to endure...how was Ford Field? I really wanted to go down to a game to check it out but the season was sold out pretty early.....go figure.

Comiskey does suck, but at least the sox are better then the cubs. Comiskey hosts the all-star game this year, so you'll get your fill of it then.

Bad like The Vet, Shea etc? No. It was built just before the retro parks became the norm and it really shows. It's just a boring, sterile place to see a game.

Huge - got to love the b&w pics...sort of a retro look.

Goat - did you take that pic yourself?

I see your Kane and raise you a Jericho:

2002 Tech/A&M game. Students stand during the game, but take this 'hump it' stance during 'yells' (what lesser schools call cheers ):

Final lap at season ending IRL race. #1 in points Sam Hornish, Jr., scores a .0096 second win against #2 in points Helio Castroneves and clinches the title. Pic taken about 200ft from the finish.

Taken from the hotel across the street that I was staying at in June. Actually 3 images 'stitched' together, as even unzoomed it was not fitting.

I took the Camden Yards tour and have some awesome pics but that was before the digital camera.
