Title misleading as I am told by my Ohio State friends. Ivan is only one person and it means nothing.. (I'm sure it has nothing to do with Ivan rating the Bucks #3..

No WVU? They finished 20 and 25 in the two polls and have a lot of talent coming back.

Granted this is so early as to be completely irrelevant....but Auburn at #4 scares me since there USC's first opponent.

It's scary enough heading into the season with your first team all American Quarterback and Safety headed to the big show.

that is amazing that auburn is ranked that high. i think they will be good. cadillac should come back better than ever since he will now have to compete with ronnie brown. talk about a good position for tubberville, 2 all-sec backs. tons of starters coming back. i can dream about a national championship for the first time in year. war eagle.

they will need to figure out what they will do about the fg kicking though
maybe with a starter position, yost will step up

No link that I can find, but the new Sports Illustrated has their 2003 top 25 as well. I'll try to post it later.

Yeah, we apparently rotate a Western Division team in that spot, has been Arkansas, now moving to Auburn.

I will miss the Arkansas games, has been a good rivalry, especially since I moved to West Tennessee.

I think he was talking about Arkansas not being in the Top 25 list, rather than not on Tennessee's schedule.

It would be FUN to see Auburn ranked that high. I understand and have high hopes for them, but there are too many variables. Georgia and USC... and Bama. We also have Ga. Tech, Tennessee and LSU. I see the UGA/Auburn game next fall possibly being a HUGE game.

You talking about the voters, or Auburn? If you mean Auburn well ask Tubberville. I'm shocked that Texas is #5 with no Chris Simms next year,

without simms texas may be a better team. or at least maybe they can win one big game next year.

it will be hard to be as inconsistent as duval was last year. he was 6/15. i would think yost can do better than that.

Georgia won't miss a beat on defense next year, mainly because the three starters we lose have backups that are just about as good. Richt plays two, even three deep and most positions. All of the backup offensive lineman played in every game last year, because they rotate in. So I think with the experience and playing time from last year, the offensive line will be good. They'll start slow and come on at mid-season. Our RBs next year will be damn good. But losing Musa hurt. Tony Milton will be our most experienced back. Big mistake on his part in my opinion. But Michael Cooper at 6'2" 225 pounds and Kregg Lumpkin at 6'0" 195-200 pounds are phenomenal. WRs won't miss a beat. It's going to come down to how the OL plays and gels together.

But I will say this. Auburn was the best team UGA played last year. They will be strong. I think it's going to be UGA and Auburn in the SEC championship, even though they play each other in the regular season.
