Why don't sports teams...?

Why don't Hockey teams use really fat goalies who are wider than the goal?

Why don't Football teams use a 7 foot 5 receiver around the endzone?

Why don't Baseball teams use little people as PH, they'd have such a miniscule strikezone?

there was that midget little person that played baseball along time ago, sometime between the 20's and 50's. I don't know a name or an exact time frame, but I want to say he played for the Reds or something. I think he got walked on 4 straight pitches.

While size is somewhat of an attribute for a goalie, agility is moreso an attribute. A fat (slow goaly) wouldn't be as flexible and able to change directions very quick.

And it would take a horrible price out on their backs.

What, you didn't hear that Yao Ming signed a two-way contract with the Texans to play in goal line situations.

They'd break the ice and fall through to the water below.

Any 7'5" guy that isn't playing professional basketball probably isn't coordinated enough to be a receiver.

In 1951 the St. Louis Browns actually did put a midget named Eddie Gaedel on their roster and used him to pinch-hit as a publicity stunt. His number was 1/8 and he swung a toy bat. The pitcher walked him (and was laughing so hard by the third ball he could barely throw it). Club owners passed a rule banning the use of midgets after that.

Man, that would have to be a mega fat goalie, since a hockey net is 6 feet wide.

If somebody had a 7'5 foot ball player, as soon as it got tackled, its legs would snap like chicken wings.

Speaking of the goalie thing, I remember an NHL team back in the 50's or so experimented by putting in 2 goalies in 1 net, it didnt work out too well since they were always fumbling and falling over each other

Midgets already have the popeye arms. It would be dangerous to see the effects of steroids on them. I'm pretty sure that's why we don't see them in baseball.
