NFL Playoffs - Packers vs. Vick - 1/04/03

Since the other game is quickly getting out of control, may as well start this discussion as well. Some say it will be a cold day in Hell before the Falcons beat the Pack in Green Bay in the playoffs. The only question that remains is whether Green Bay is Hell.

Could be a pretty good game. Hopefully Favre won't look absolutely horrible like he did last week.

Was that Governor Purdue shaking Vick's hand as he got off the bus?

/me shakes his head that we voted a guy name "Sonny" as our Governor.

I'd be curious to see some stats on how turf teams fare on grass fields during the playoffs.

I believe ABC said that turf teams are 4-22 in the playoffs when playing on grass. Soon to be 4-23...

Yeah, that's what I figured.

The Rams didn't have to play any games on grass during their runs, did they?

GB is at home, it's cold out, and the Pack has never lost a playoff game at Lambeau.

I'm pulling for the Falcons, and call my crazy, but I think they can pull it off.

But they probably won't.

Whats the line on the game? ESPN doesn't have them listed.

Over/Under at 41 seems pretty low to me... I shoulda taken $ome of that action.

I expect a lot of scoring.

I'm confused. I could swear I just saw Michael Vick throw on two consecutive downs. I'll bet he runs the next one. Waiting... waiting..... yup.

vick would be dangerous with a decent offensive line, good receivers, and a powerful running back

Man, the Packers do NOT look like the Packers I've seen play this year (except for last week).
