NFL Draft order?

Being a Vikings fan, I'm curious as to the draft order of teams that haven't made the playoffs. Does anyone know?

We certainly didn't do any favors winning the last 3, but we can't do worse than #9, but we could be at #7.

If STL wins tommorrow, we could be #6 or 7.... but Jacksonville has 6-10 record too? so anywhere from 6-9 yeah like you said.

Ah ya, just noticed that. I'm a huge rams fan tomorrow

So, we can't do better than 7th for sure. Just have to see who gets the tie breakers between us, Jacksonville and the Rams.

Interestingly, we'd be tied for the 2nd pick of hte draft had we not rattled off 3 meaningless wins. Oh well.

I really think we will get what we want in 6th pick though anyways. Most of the teams need Qbs or WRs

1. Cin - QB
2. Det - WR
3. CHI - QB
4. HOU - ?? Maybe OL or RB? Don't know much about that team
5. ARZ - QB Maybe since Plummer is gone.
6. Dallas - Dont know again...
7. MN - Hopefully we will get the best CB or DB or LB

Cin and Det are 1&2 for sure. If the Rams win tonight Hou is 3 and Chicago is 4th. If the Ramsa lose I think they're is going to be a coin flip for #3 since Hou and the Bears will have the same SOS.

The Bears will take McGahee is he comes out and is there or a DL. Angelo has said he's not that interested in Palmer or Leftwich.

The Seahawks draft behind the Ravens because the Ravens opponents record is .0000465 lower.

Thanks to Wannstedt we won't get to pick until the 4,987th round. That Bastard We got Ricky and didn't even make the playoffs As long as we fire Wannstedt we'll be allright next year

I think they are seeded the same way teams are that go to the playoffs, with head-to-head, then common opponents, etc. I'm just guessing though, so I could be completely wrong (and I usually am )

The team with the worst opponents winning percentage gets the better pick. if that is the same, there is a coin flip.

TIE-BREAKING PROCEDURE FOR SELECTION MEETING
If two or more clubs are tied in the selection order, the strength-of-schedule tie breaker is applied, subject to the following exceptions for playoff clubs:

1. The Super Bowl winner is last and the Super Bowl loser next-to-last.
2. Any non-Super Bowl playoff club involved in a tie shall be assigned priority within its segment below that of non-playoff clubs and in the order that the playoff clubs exited from the playoffs. Thus, within a tied segment a playoff club that loses in the Wild-Card game will have priority over a playoff club that loses in the Divisional playoff game, which in turn will have priority over a club that loses in the Conference Championship game. If two tied clubs exited the playoffs in the same round, the tie is broken by strength of schedule.

If any ties cannot be broken by strength of schedule, the divisional or conference tie breakers, whichever are applicable, are applied. Any ties that still exist are broken by a coin flip.

Well it looks as though Kiper still has Charles Rogers up as #2 on the big board....i sure as hell hope that the Lions take him....i've already read one Detroit columnist say they need a "playmaker" and should go for a "shifty runningback"....though looking at the prosepects there doesn't really seem to be one.......only two (Lee Suggs and Larry Johnson) in the top 25 on Kiper's list....so maybe they can get a good one in the 2nd round.

Is another WR what Detroit needs? I know a whole new team is not possible, but I thought the WRwise, Det was OK. Maybe I am wrong.

Although I would be glad to see Chuck in Detroit. Too bad he would go from one crappy, losing team to another!
