NFL: 12-28 : Raiders and Chiefs

Wow, almost 7-0 off the bat for KC, the field is SOAKING wet, the kick returner fumbled the ball but went out of bounds, at about the Raiders 40 yard line.

In this game, I'm pulling for the underdog, that would be nice for KC to win (if possible) and possibly get to the playoffs.

I can't stand rooting for the Raiders, but if it helps my Broncos out so be it.

How many fumbles between the two teams today will be committed today? My guess is 6.

There should be some real interesting field goal attempts in those water patches.

Good call ... what's strange is how the sideline official standing right there could blow such an easy call.

I just turned this game on. Can someone tell me why it is so dark and there are shadows on the field?

What kind of crap is that? A fumble? They better spot that back at the 18. Can't have it both ways, NFL. If you're going to have stupid rules and deliberately not change them to avoid looking bad in the public eye, then you better call them.

I was a bit suprised that there wasn't a challange but they would have had a penalty for it hitting a lineman if they did overturn it. Doesn't that penalty carry a loss of down as well and if so since it was fourth down I guess it would have been moot.

Except they got possession of the fumble on the 33, when the line of scrimmage for the play was the 18.

As a side note, I'm enjoying listening to poor Dick Enberg stumble over Anabella Sciorra every time they advertise Queen's Supreme. He's said it differently each time.

Total domination in harsh conditions ... very good to see from the Raiders going into the playoffs.

This week off should help them the most to get Woodson, Kennedy, and the host of others who are dinged up healthy.

Yeah, the bye week should help them greatly ... add to that home field advantage, and they are poised to make a run, barring any tuck rules or snowstorms.
