DTSL v. CoC

Read about the tourney match-ups and dates, plus other pertinent information >>HERE<<.

Remember, CoC will be challenging us THIS Friday, so be ready. And then we challenge the CoC teams THIS Saturday, so please don't forfeit. Games must be played by 11:30 pm CENTRAL time, so west coasters need to get the game played and reported by 9:30 pm on Saturday. I recommend playing the game early, if possible b/c the deadline will be strictly enforced.

To avoid any confusion/disagreements, do NOT play your opponent more than once on Saturday.

All scores must be reported >>HERE<<. Go to the SmallBall Tourney area (you'll need to create an ID). Or, send Omni1 a Private Message (http://www.forums.smallball.org/phpB...mode=post&u=83) with the game# and both team names, and score. Of course, you'll need an ID on the SB forum to do this. Again, all games must be reported by 11:30 p.m. CST on 12/21/02. If there are any problems with reporting scores, post them in our thread here and I'll try to submit them for you.

Vote on which league will win the tourney, and donate a ticket >>HERE<<. So far, we're the decided favorite in this tourney, with 71% of voters thinking we'll win.

Good luck, and let's kick some ass.

Posted by Twik in another thread:
Im off on vacation (in minnesota till the 25th)
the in laws have cable internet.. so at least it wont be so bad when I want to peek in.. and I have my laptop with me..
but not sure how much Ill be around for the next week (not that I have been around much lately anyways)
as you can see.. my main team hasnt initiated a game this season
hell.. my team has gone past the 48 hour mark without training a couple times in the last week
good thing we are on a break

oh.. but my point.. you guys will have to continue starting the new threads for me.. until I get back next week
Twik, you going to be able to play your DTSL/CoC tourney game against the Adorable Pound Puppies on Saturday? And be ready for Friday's game?

Also note that Rest In Peace was thrown out of the tourney due to a lack of response from the owner. The Christopher Walkens were substituted in their place. Hopefully this owner will be more responsive...

I have in the past. It's actually quite handy in tracking down posts. Besides, the link has been correct for probably CXXXII threads now...SO DON'T SCREW UP THE SYSTEM!

Copenhagen: I don't care what Y2K Falcon says about you, you rule.

Idgie: Thanks for the info on the tickets. I'm glad they've gotten faster at handing out tickets since the last time I ordered juice.

i definitly think my team is going to be at a low poinjt and probably not in the best shape to play the tourney
but they will be trained.. and its only one game saturday.. i shouldnt have any problem managing that
too bad too.. my team was playing very well over the past few weeks (or months).. but I think my schedule lately and over the next week, is really going to set them back.

Cool, as long as you're trained, and able to play the Saturday game, that's the important point. It's only the Pound PUppies, and I still think you have a great chance to beat them even if your team is totally sucking.

Anyway, just wanted to make sure. If you couldn't play the game, I'd try to find a substitute team.

Why does Vryce have 'Damage' after his team name again?

You should have your own color, man. Ask for purple - half red/half blue.

You've won nearly as many brawls as entire clans!

2 rounds, but round 1 is CoC teams initiating against us on Friday, and round 2 is DTSL teams initiating against them on Saturday. And that's it. You will only initiate ONE game in this tournament.

Actually, we are encouraged to practice challenge them. They did to us. However, tomorrow we can't play against them.

[EDIT]

Few days too late.

from the tourney thread:
No problem Dark, thx for joining in the fun. Also I forgot to mention, if the games are not posted by 11:30 p.m. CST they will count as a forfeit on either side. This is alot of work, lol posting in different forums and trying to keep everyone updated. Also no practice games like the day before. I told our guys, but if someone accidently plays a game it is out of both of our hands.
Look like we aren't supposed but as the post says it's out of DarkElf and omni's hands

Yes, I've said this more than once, it's a home and home series. You will be challenged ONCE, and you will challenge ONCE. Total 2 games per team. And then the tourney is over. It isn't like the other tourneys where you advance to the next round if you win, and there's no eventual winner. The only "winner" is the league with the most wins.

Cop, Omni1 doesn't want any team to challenge their opponent the day before their scheduled game. Not sure why it would matter, but it was his request, so that's that.
