I played against a team that started P. Holmes and C. Portis, and won!!!

It was a harrowing experience last night when Portis was scoring on every single drive and Holmes was racking up yards, but thanks to Shanahan taking Portis out mid 3rd quarter and Holmes getting injured I managed to win by a single point. This was the first round of a 4 team single elimination playoffs. Winner gets 70% of $3500 ($2450) so I'm quite estatic.

Right now the score in my yahoo run fantasy playoff game is 79-78 and I still have E. George to go tonight. My question is if the scores are final at this point and should I bench George just in case the impossible happens and he fumbles the first play of the night and gets injured leading to a loss? Or do I just let him play? Are the yahoo score final or can they change for yesterday's games?

If your league allows negative points, then yeah I would take him out. The scores yahoo shows are final for those players that played yesterday.

I played against a team that had Portis and Harrison and still won by 56 thanks to Culpepper, Moss, Henry, and Shipp. Too bad it was the consolation game of my league's playoffs

Culpepper sat on my bench while Vick only scored 12. My stars were Alexander, Giants D and Akers.

In the championship game my team will be:

Vick, Michael (QB-Atl) Det
Porter, Jerry (WR-Oak) Den
Moulds, Eric (WR-Buf) WRBench @GB
Johnson, Keyshawn (WR-TB) Pit
Alexander, Shaun (RB-Sea) StL
George, Eddie (RB-Ten) @Jac
Miller, Billy (TE-Hou) @Was
Akers, David (K-Phi) @Dal

Defenses (which one?, I'm thinking Washington)
New York (DEF-NYG) @Ind
Indianapolis (DEF-Ind) NYG
San Francisco (DEF-SF) @Ari
Washington (DEF-Was) Hou

against:

Brady, Tom (QB-NE) NYJ
Harrison, Marvin (WR-Ind) NYG
Johnson, Chad (WR-Cin) NO
Robinson, Koren (WR-Sea) StL
Martin, Curtis (RB-NYJ) @NE
Staley, Duce (RB-Phi) @Dal
Franks, Bubba (TE-GB) Buf
Hall, John (K-NYJ) @NE
New York (DEF-NYJ) @NE

Should I attempt to take some money off the table or should winner take all. I was thinking of taking off $1400 ($700 to each team, $2800 total purse) and winner would get an additional $1400 and bragging rights.

I lost one of my po games because of Portis. In my other league I knocked off a dominating 12-1 team. His players just didn't show up. If I win next week, it will be my first time ever winning a FF league.

I missed the playoffs despite scoring the 3rd most total points in the league. Yesterday my lineup would have had: Culpepper, Portis, Alexander and Burress.
