Has the APA theme song "Beer Money" ever been released on a CD?

No that is production music. WWE doesn't own it, and doesn't have the rights to sell it. You can find it on the net CD quality though if you look hard enough

What do you mean? It's production music just like almost all the themes up there. It's no different than say Kurt Angle's Theme..

And yes, I do in fact have the Beer Money mp3. And it's sounds perfect and clean and it sounds like it was off of some CD somewhere.. either that, or ripped from a video game

I love that theme.. wish I had it here at work to pump me up.

Where's Demolition?

I wonder...would it be considered dorky or kinky if one of us were to use one those themes to enter a bedroom with our lover for some foreplay?

Which one would you employ? I would go with either Real American or The Game.

Production or Royality free music are songs companys can buy to use when they want and for what they want. Most companys use it for background music in commercials or for informational videos. WWE uses several royality free themes for it's wrestlers. The only thing you can't do with the music is resell it. WWE doesn't have the right to put the APA theme on the CD because they don't own the rights to it. This is why some of the themes are changed in WWE video games or WWE dvd's. 95% of WCW's music was royality free, the rest was written by Jimmy Hart. Jim Johnston writes the music for the WWE such as Kurt Angle, Christian, Ultimate Warrior, etc... He didn't write the APA theme. If you search hard enough, you can find the theme at firstcom.com, they allow you to audition as much music as you want there. I have come across several WWE themes that are production on that site. For example:

Crash Holly
Dudley Boys 1st
Tommy Dreamer 1st and New
Hardy Boyz
Rikishi
Booker T
APA
Randy Orton

and the list goes on and on....especially for WCW themes. I don't understand why WWE purchases this music to use while they have a full time writer/composer in house? I guess it just makes things easier.

Yeah it is strange, I believe Rikishi's theme was intact on those games as well.

here's what I want...the actual production themes SOMEWHERE.

i'm talking the pre-RAW themes, the nice, orchestral, dramatic lead-ins that wrapped up last night's PPV and led into RAW...specifically one with a windchime opening and a nice booming intro. anybody know where to find THESE?

You can search away at firstcom.com (They have a TON of music to browse thru there, it can be quite entertaining)

or

Try themetitan.com, a great message board for theme music. Although it is full of people who's lives revolve around wrestling theme music. It is really quite sad. I just lurk there and pick up the good music people post.

Chris Benoit 1st (WCW)
Chris Jericho 1st (WCW...it has lyrics )
