These 1907 Chicago Cubs are tough! They just took out me and Bada Bing. Undefeated so far this season!

Hey, does the Damage league have a web site that we can spy on? Or is it totally private?

I think something along the ACC-Big Ten Challenge is on the horizon.

Maybe some of the SmallBall forum goers could put out some feelers or something. I think it would be absolutely fun to have some kind of tourney with them. For the wrestling fans, just think of what WCW vs. WWF would've meant 6 years ago.

In post update:
Top 4 - Game #43976
Oregon Duques: 3
Passive Aggressive: 3

Yeah they do, but I cant remember it. It was Team666, but he changed it. Sorry.
I am not too worried about them though. A week or so ago I was in a bad mood/bored so I decided to play as many Damage Inc. 9* teams I could find. I think I went 10-2 and most of the games werent close. That surely would not happen here in the DTSL. I'll add the call letters later tonight.

Solipsta knows some of them.

Let's not make it a WCW WWF comparision. We are so far superior to their teams, we would insult WCW by comparing Damage Inc. to them!

Actually, it would probably be more like NBA vs. CBA

I could see how they felt about it. Something like our best 10 teams against their best 10. Post the details on the new smallball forums so we could humiliate them. lol, they're really not that strong right now. Anywhere that I could specifically direct their calls???

Cheers

Hey, don't knock the CFL! If we played by our rules, I bet some of our teams could knock urs off!!

Ok, that was kinda embarrassing....

Yeah, well I don't think anyone considers the Bengals to be a team.

As for directing Damage Inc. guys to someone....I'll throw my name out there for them to contact but they might be better off contacting someone that's online more often, *ahem*twikoff*ahem*.

Wow.. check out my game against the Round-Up.

#43931

Round-Up up 4-1 after 7 innings.. score 2 more in the 8th to make it 4-5, They scored one in the 8th as well.

Then a monster rally in the 9th to make the final score 8-5.

And that was in the Fox stadium... Plus I don't think that any of the runs scored were HRs.

Seriously, the CFL is a better brand of football. WAY more offense oriented and wider open. And unlike the SuperBowl (super? *smirk*) our championship game is NEVER a letdown. It's almost always high scoring and very entertaining.

Having said all that, I'm not specifically a CFL fan, but I am a huge fan of their rules. If the NFL could adopt CFL rules, the game would be SOOOO much more better.

Ok, I've embarrassed myself enough today. That's all about the CFL for now.

And speaking about embarrassing, I've decided to play 1907 Chicago Cubs. They just hit a grand slam off me in the bottom of the second...need I say more???? At least I don't have the DTSL on my name. I'll be the only one embarrassed, not you guys....LOL

Cheers

Put an NFL Defense aginst any CFL team and then see how wide open their offese is. I can't really remember the last Superbowl that was a letdown.

Now, back to Smallball...

back to the pitcher training stuff....

i had recently trained all my players for 4 full pie sessions. so that would have been about a weeks worht of pie's.

1 player gained the top spot...dennis bardi.
then after no pitch or throw trainning for another week bardi was still #1.
then i trained 3 guys in half of a pie in throw. they jumped right ahead of bardi and bardi was then #4.

the new number 1 pitcher was tony dewald.
whenever i do this type of experiment with pitching tony always becomes the number 1 pitcher.

but whenever i use him my team loses by giving up tons of runs and not just by lots of homers.

so it doesnt seem like the #1 pitcher is my best pitcher ever.

i am always more competitive when i use bardi and train him every few days or even another player randy lerch as pitcher.
even if they are never rated at 1 on my list.
i usually don't go by speed i go by who makes me a more competitive team when that guy pitches.

Interesting... How many games have you given Tony to prove himself?
