NFL MNF: Giants vs. Eagles (10/28/02)

Playing in Philly...Philly is favored by 7.

I think it'll be a pretty close game thanks to the pass rush of the gapped wonder, Michael Strahan. I don't know if the Giants offense will be able to do much, but I think their defense will keep them in the game.

Still, I think Philly should be able to win.

I didn't make this a poll since half the people tend to vote after the game is finished anyway.

Philly 20-10. However, I will root for the Giants to keep the NFC East interesting.

I can't decide who to put the money on!

Philly minus 7

Or Giants plus 7!

Agggh!

I'm leaning towards Philly.

Take the points. Giants-Eagles games usually come down to the wire. Plus, both teams have very good defenses, which should make the game low scoring.

Go Giants!

I think the Iggles will win by double digits. Not very good times for teams named "Giants" these days.

I'd take Philly....which is why you should take NY. My picks this weekend were pretty much all wrong. Good thing I didn't bet any money.

Eagles - 27
Giants - 13

The Giants D. is a little banged up this week. I see the Eagles wideouts having a big game tonight. Hamiltons out. Sehorn, their other CB (cant remember his name) and Strahan are banged up. Plus, the Eagles have never lost a Prime Time game since Andy Reeds been here. That's not going to change tonight.

hell.. since I skipped lunch, I decided to try and spend my entire daily food allowance at outback for dinner..
i dont care who you are.. noone is eating that entire bacon and cheese aussie fries apetizer and also making it through a full meal..

I made her bring all my food at once.. so that I could at least enjoy the shrimp and chicken platter before I gorged on the aussie fries.. damn that is good food.. but now I cant even move

I might not be able to watch the game because the remote is way over there.. and I cant move from the bed..

but that didnt stop me from having her box up the chocolate pecan brownie with ice cream, cool whip and fudge... for later
I put the ice cream and cool whip containers on ice.. hopefully that holds until I get the strength to move over there and eat it

Any chance that the Giants secondary will shut down James Thrash?

You mean you bet $5.50 win $5.00 right? (you already paid in the $5.50 so if you win you get back $10.50) If not I'd like to know what sportsbook you use

Did I read that right? Philly has over 180 rushing yards already (early 2nd Q)! Wow!

(and 12 yards passing) Still tied at 3 so far with Philly driving.

Well, it's all how you look at it. He bet the 5.00 and it is gone, *poof*. The 5 is no longer his, thus he wins 10.50.

Bet $5, pays 2.1-to-1, so total pay is $10.50 with a net win of $5.50.

I can't believe I started a discussion with a measly $5 bet.

Is it an online sportsbook? Which one?

This is way more interesting than the game, btw.

Whoa, unfortunate fumble into the endzone for the Giants. That's gotta suck.

No way was that an incomplete pass. WTH?

Definitely had 2 feet down quickly before there was even any question of him dropping the ball.

Yeah, complete BS call. That was obviously a catch. I hope the league reams him out tomorrow.

Thanks DTSC.
