God damn, outside of one game, Jeff Kent had a HORRIBLE post-season.

Same with Reggie Sanders.

Man.... Angels over Giants; Lakers over Kings (I know, not really the finals but the Nets didn't have a chance against either Kings or Lakers)...... Northern California fans really got smacked hard by SoCal this year.

Yeah, I got smacked hard.

I'm sure HC will be happy at who the SF batter who flied out to end the game was!

That being said. I really like the Angels alot. They are, like, my favorite team! As a matter of fact, I'm off to Fleabay right now to pick up one of those cute little monkeys in a World Champions hat!

I'd like this question answered....

How are they going to do that Disney commercial??

I can see it now---

"Troy Glaus, you've won the World Series! What are you going to do next?"

"I'm going across the street to Disneyland!"

They did a segment on Leno a couple nights ago with Arsenio Hall, and he talked to certain players on the Angels.
He said to someone, "So, when you win, you can say, 'I going across the street!' instead?

I voted for Santiago's winning hit.

He's one of the reasons why I wanted the Giants to win. Him, Bonds and Dunston to get a ring before they retire. Because, chances are, that was the last time either 3 will play in the WS.

Damn.

Now I know how all the die hard fans of the Angels in '86 felt. Or the Red Sox in the '86 WS. Or the Yankees last year. And so on.

So, so close.

Well, it's actually more like 2 blocks.

Contrats to the Angels! I'm just happy we didn't have to see the Stankees in the World Series this year. Now the All-Star game should be fair. Torre can't pick an entire Stankees roster.

That's over 1 miles away. Trust me, I work about a mile from Disneyland and a miles from Edison Field.

Say what you will about Barry, he really did all he could to help his team win and pretty much owned this postseason. Just goes to show you that even the greatest player alive can't win without a great supporting cast.
