Steelers / Colts MNF!!

Any thoughts?

Big game for the Steelers. They need to prove that they can beat a quality opponent. Should be able to run against the Colts 27th ranked rush defense. If the passing game clicks tonight I think the Steelers can win this one. Of course, the defense is going to have to prove also that they can stop a good air attack. One thing Pittsburgh has going for them is that its a Monday night game at home.

I'm hoping the colts win, although as long as marvin gets at least 10 yards, I'll be happy with my FF win. (I'm tied right now, need 1 point for the win). This is a good matchup for the colts, if they run 3 or 4 wide a lot. I don't think the steelers secondary can contain that, especially if edge can tear of some decent yards early.

I need Manning to throw some of those patented returnable-for-TD INTs. I also need Plaxico to perform (really lack of performance ) like he did in the early part of the season. Couldn't care less who wins although I do have a mild interest in the Ravens winning their division, although I really hate the Colts and don't want to see them do well so I'll stick with couldn't care less.

The Steelers secondary has been pretty horrendous this year....I would expect Manning & Harrison to have big games.

I predict a Colts win.

This is hard to say but Go Colts.
The Ravens can have sole possession of first place with a Steelers loss.

I was thinking the same thing about the Steelers pass D. The front may do pretty well against Edge trying to run the ball, but if they spread the field they could do well.

When did Peyton completely fall apart. He looks awful tonight. I know the O-Line hasnt played well, but he is rushing everything.

I know he scored a touchdown, but he is now out of the game with a sprained knee. Dont know how many yards he had before leaving though.

Colts continue to fire on only 3 cylinders. That interception over the middle was the gamebreaker!

Something tells me Bettis might not be in a Steelers uniform next season.

LOL

Bettis had 2 touchdowns before spraining his knee on the first play of the 3rd quarter. He could have returned but they really didn't need him.

Wasn't it great when they showed Peyton Manning studying the Steelers defense on the sidelines. He looked like a confused school boy.

The Defense is BACK!
